Former WWE ring announcer Justin Roberts announced he is publishing a book about his career in March 2017.  On Instagram, Roberts posted the following: "From sleeping in this bedroom- to escaping to a world of imagination playing with these figures in this wrestling ring- to working with those actual wrestlers in an actual ring- to standing in the middle of the ring, being a part of the real life show all over the world for more than a decade and to the night it all ended.
I've got a story to tell. Published worldwide: March 2017"

Pat LaPrade and Dan Murphy have completed work on a new book "Sisterhood of the Squared Circle: The History and Rise of Women’s Wrestling" which will be released in April 2017.  Promotional material for the book reads, "Sisterhood of the Squared Circle presents the fascinating history of women’s wrestling, from the carnival circuit of the late 1800s to today’s hugely popular matches. With more than 100 wrestler profiles, find out how the backstage politics, real-life grudges, and incredible personalities shaped the business. The careers of many well-known trailblazers, including Mildred Burke, the Fabulous Moolah, Mae Young, Penny Banner, Wendi Richter, Trish Stratus, Chyna, and Lita, are celebrated alongside today’s stars, like Charlotte, Natalya, and Paige.  With rare photographs, and an exploration of women’s wrestling worldwide — including chapters on Japan, Mexico, England, and Australia — Sisterhood of the Squared Circle is a priceless contribution to the history of professional wrestling."  WWE's Natalya will be writing the foreword for the book.  LaPrade was one half of the team that worked on the excellent book about the history of Montreal as a territory a few years ago while Murphy is a longtime writer for Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazine and wrote a book about wrestling in the city of Buffalo.
