WWE WILL NOT SUSPEND BROCK LESNAR, HERE IS WHY

By Mike Johnson on 2016-07-26 19:32:00

TMZ.com is reporting that WWE will not suspend Brock Lesnar for his test failures under the USADA because Lesnar is exempt from the WWE Wellness Policy.

A WWE Spokesperson told TMZ that Lesnar is a part-time performer for the company, therefore Lesnar is not tested as full-time performers are.  The reasoning is that WWE performers are being tested to maintain their health and well being while performing upwards of 200 times a year while Brock has only wrestled 19 matches over the last several years.

Lesnar failed a pre-UFC 200 drug test and one the day of his fight against Mark Hunt, which Lesnar won by decision.   His punishment would fall under the jurisdiction of the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Lesnar returns to WWE storylines this Monday on advance of his Summerslam bout against Randy Orton.
