The ROH summer tradition continues: FIELD OF HONOR! We are returning to MCU Park in Brooklyn, NY on August 27th for a night of the best professional wrestling on the planet. Not only will all your favorite ROH stars be there, premiere athletes from New Japan Pro Wrestling are on their way to Brooklyn, too!
There's nothing quite like seeing Ring of Honor live, and the atmosphere at MCU Park is always extra special for FIELD OF HONOR! Here's the latest match signed for August 27th:
ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
BOBBY FISH VS. EVIL
At last year's FIELD OF HONOR, the man then known as Takaaki Watanabe outlasted a gauntlet of stars to secure a future ROH World Television Championship match, at that point the biggest opportunity of his career! But Watanabe was not successful in his quest for gold and many wondered what the young wrestler needed to elevate his game. One year later, we have the answer: a complete transformation into EVIL!
Now virtually unrecognizable, the "King of Darkness" has found his place among Los Ingobernables de Japon! EVIL takes on current ROH World Television Champion Bobby Fish on August 27th at FIELD OF HONOR 2016. This is a massive opportunity for EVIL to reestablish himself in ROH after gaining so much notoriety in NJPW!
But will Bobby Fish even be ROH World Television Champion at FIELD OF HONOR? He has a massive challenge ahead of himself at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR when he defends against Mark Briscoe. But if Fish can retain his championship, he already knows that EVIL is looming in the distance!
