WWE BRINGING GREAT VETERANS INTO NXT, WHY UNSCRIPTED PROMOS ARE BETTER, GETTING DRAFTED AND MORE

Do you think they are going to bring back the Divas and World Heavyweight Championships so each brand has a top title for men and women?

I hope not, I really do.  I love the idea of the Champions being the only ones that can appear on both shows.  As we saw last time they had the World Title, it clearly became the number two belt.  In the case of the women, I think that the division is too short on competitors to have two champions.

I like Steve Corino a lot, he is definitely hardcore and one tough bastard, but he is not the "King of Hardcore".  If you guys had to pick one guy (who wrestled in the states) to give that crown, who would it be? For me its between Funk and Foley.

It would come down to Funk and Foley to me as well, with Tommy Dreamer and New Jack in the mix as well given what they did and for how long they did it.  Given what Terry Funk meant to ECW, I would have to go with him.

Just saw the video of the Cesaro interview you posted where he talks about speaking the language of wrestling...to me, that was a great promo that would've been excellent for Raw. Similar passionate interviews from (Ziggler and Banks come to mind) have been posted on the website as well.  It seems like the interviews posted on the WWE website are a little less scripted. My question is this. Why don't the talents give these promos on the shows when there's a bigger audience, as they have the power to get the wrestlers over?

You pretty much answered the question.  Creative scripts the promos that we see on TV and if often comes across unnaturally.  I have always been a fan of trusting the talents with bullet points and allowing them to get to the message organically, but Vince McMahon wants tight control over what is said, which is why we see things like Roman Reigns saying, “Suffering Succotash”.

Judging by the reactions of the NXT stars they seemed genuinely surprised when they got drafted did they or anyone else drafted know in advance where they would be going?

I think in some cases, like Finn Balor and Nia Jax, they probably did given where their spots on NXT TV were,  I think they had a pretty good idea they were moving on, especially Balor.  I think people like Mojo Rawley and Alexa Bliss were probably legitimately surprised.

With the draft panning out how it did, (particularly the NXT call ups), isn't NXT a little too TNA-ee? Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, Austin Aries, etc. and anybody else I'm forgetting or future TNA castoffs. Not only are they the brand's top talent, they all kept their names. I don't hate TNA but I thought Vince/WWE did. Is it coincidence? A F.U. to TNA? (Look what we can do with your discards) Is it cause they'll obviously have chemistry in the ring already?

First, Vince doesn’t let TNA concern him.  They aren’t big enough to be an issue to him.  As for guys like Joe and Aries, some people see them as ROH guys.  Even so, I don’t think it’s anything of the kind.  I think HHH knows talented veterans when he sees them.  He sees guys that can have good matches that the smart fans will like, plus guys that can help teach the new talents.  To me, it’s a great move by him to sign these talents.
