ROH TELEVISION REPORT: KYLE O'REILLY VERSUS JAY LETHAL FOR THE ROH TITLE, AND MORE

We are in Concord, North Carolina and your announcer is Kevin Kelly.

Tonight’s show features the World Title match between Kyle O’Reilly and Jay Lethal and it is going to be given the entire show.

Kyle comes to the ring and before the champion can make his way to the ring, Adam Cole makes his way onto the stage.

Adam tells Kyle he has said it before and he will say it a thousand times.  As long as he is in Ring of Honor, Kyle will never be champion.  Being in this match makes Adam sick.  Adam says that he is the next one in line for the Ring of Honor Title.  Adam says Kyle does not stand a chance in tonight’s match.  He says Kyle won’t be wresting in tonight’s match.

Kyle turns around and he walks into a double super kick from the Young Bucks.  Nick throws a chair into the ring while Cole makes his way to the ring.  Matt and Nick kick Kyle and Cole hits Kyle in the back with a chair.  Cole hits Kyle in the shoulder a few times with the chair.

Matt and Nick put a chair on Kyle’s arm and while the Bucks hold Kyle, Cole hits the chair repeatedly while Kevin Kelly cries out in anger.

Bobby Fish makes his way to the ring with a chair and Cole and the Young Bucks leave the ring.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Kevin Kelly advises that this week’s show was supposed to be completely devoted to the World Title Match between Kyle O’Reilly and Jay Lethal.  We see what happened when Adam Cole and the Young Bucks got involved and attacked Kyle O’Reilly.

Because of what happened, we will have some stand by matches instead of the World Title Match.

We go to the locker room where Kyle is being taped up and the doctor tells Kyle that his shoulder may be separated.  Bobby tells Kyle to listen to the doctor but Kyle tells Bobby that he would be doing the same thing if he was in this position.  Kyle screams in pain and Bobby tells Kyle to wait and have the match when he is healthy.

Nigel McGuinness joins Kevin Kelly at the announce table.

Nigel says that there will be repercussions for what the Bullet Club did and he says he is sick of the Bullet Club.

Match Number One:  Bob Evans and Tim Hughes versus Hanson and Raymond Rowe

Before the match starts, Rowe hits a Superman punch on Evans and then they corner Hughes and he tries to escapes but he is stopped as he climbs over a ringside security member.  Hughes is sent into the ring and Rowe with a running double knee strike.  Hanson with a cannonball to Hughes and then he hits a spin kick to knock Evans off the apron.  Hughes is sent in the air and Hanson catches him and hits a power slam.  Rowe picks up Hughes for Fallout and the three count.

Winners:  Hanson and Raymond Rowe

After the match, Shane Taylor and Keith Lee attack Hanson and Rowe.  Taylor with a clothesline to Hanson and then Rowe with a uranage to Lee and he drop kicks Taylor to the floor.  Rowe goes for a suicide dive but Rowe is met with a forearm.  Hanson hits a senton off the turnbuckles to the floor.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two:  Will Ferrara versus Cheeseburger

They lock up and Cheeseburger with a wrist lock and he takes Ferrara to the mat but Ferrara with a kip up and reversal.  Cheeseburger with a waist lock but Ferrara with a take down and leg drop to the arm.

The music plays for Kenny King, Rhett Titus, and Caprice Coleman along with his menagerie of followers.

It appears that this match is over.

Caprice Coleman says they cancel your regularly scheduled match for an important message from The Cabinet.

Caprice says he is your Minister of Information.  Rhett Titus is the Secretary of Shoulders.  Kenny King is the Chairman of Championships.

From the information given to him by the Secretary of Shoulders, you do not meet the criteria of being a professional wrestler.  Therefore, by the power invested in him, the match is cancelled. 

Kenny says the best thing about being in the Cabinet is that they are not just talkers, they are about actions.  To make wrestling great again, they are instituting the Buy a Ticket Program.  He says that Cheeseburger and Little Willy look like the people in the crowd, not them.  He tells them they can climb over the guardrails and sit in the crowd, or they will violently remove you from the world of professional wrestling.

He tells them that against these lions, you will need an elephant to survive.

Will takes the mic and he tells Cheeseburger they don’t have a bear, an elephant, or an ox.  However, they have a Moose.

Moose makes his way to the ring with Stokely Hathaway and it looks like we have a six man tag match.

Match Number Three:  Moose, Will Ferrara, and Cheeseburger versus Caprice Coleman, Rhett Titus, and Kenny King

Moose, Cheeseburger, and Ferrara attack before the bell and Moose takes on Coleman while Ferrara and Cheeseburger are sent to the floor by Titus and King.  King and Titus hit Moose from behind to stop him.  Moose is Irish whipped and Titus and King run into elbows and then he avoids Coleman and hits a cross body off the turnbuckles onto Titus and King.  Ferrara with a head scissors off the turnbuckles to Coleman.  Cheeseburger with a springboard knee to Titus’ head.

Ferrara tags in and he is Irish whipped into the corner and he hits an elbow on King.  Cheeseburger with a forearm and Ferrara with a drop toe hold and Cheeseburger with an elbow drop off Ferrara’s back and Will gets a near fall.  Titus kicks Ferrara in the back and King leaps over the ropes and drops Ferrara on the top rope.  Coleman sends Ferrara into the ring post and then Coleman kicks Ferrara in the head. 

Coleman with a knee drop and forearm to Ferrara’s head.  Coleman with knees to Ferrara.  King tags in and Coleman with a slam.  King with a springboard leg drop followed by a splash from Titus and he gets a near fall.  Titus with a reverse chin lock.  Ferrara with punches but Titus sends Will into the corner.  Ferrara escapes the corner and tags in Moose.  Moose with shoulder tackles to everyone.

Moose with a splash to Titus and then King.  Moose with a shoulder to Titus in the corner and then he puts King on the turnbuckles.  Moose drop kicks King off the turnbuckles and then Moose hits Sky High on Titus for a near fall.  Cheeseburger tags in and Moose sends Cheeseburger onto Titus with a Rocket Launcher but Titus gets his knees up.  Moose is pulled to the floor by King and Coleman but Moose sends Coleman into the ring post and he swings around and hits Moose.  King with a corkscrew plancha to Moonse.  Ferrara with a tornado DDT to Titus but Coleman kicks Ferrara and hits an STO.

Cheeseburger with a palm thrust to Coleman but Titus stops Cheeseburger on an attempt.  Titus runs into a palm strike.  Cheeseburger goes to the turnbuckles and King with an enzuigiri.  Coleman goes for the jumping rana but he cannot full hit Cheeseburger but he still flips onto the mat.  Titus with an Impaler DDT for the three count.

Winners:  Rhett Titus, Caprice Coleman, and Kenny King

We go to commercial.

Before the main event starts, Jay takes the mic and says that he has a lot of respect for Kyle O’Reilly.  Kyle has nothing to prove tonight.  He proved that he will risk his body for a shot at the Ring of Honor title.  He can have his match any other time.

Kyle says he appreciates Jay’s comments.  Since they are both men, and as long as he has a breath in his body, he will fight for that title.  He tells the referee to ring the bell.

Match Number Four:  Kyle O’Reilly versus Jay Lethal for the Ring of Honor World Title

Kyle with a kick to the side and he kicks Lethal again.  Lethal with a side head lock and take down.  Kyle with a rollup for a near fall.  Kyle with a head scissors and Lethal escapes and puts Kyle in a head lock and gets a near fall.  Kyle with forearms and Lethal with a shoulder tackle and Kyle lands on his injured shoulder.

Kyle with a snap mare and kicks to the back.  Kyle misses a kick and Lethal gets back to his feet.  Kyle with a forearm and Lethal goes for the injured arm and Kyle gets to the ropes.  They lock up and Kyle goes for the Triangle but Lethal gets away.  Kyle kicks Lethal in the corner.  Kyle kicks Lethal in the corner and he is sent to the apron.  Lethal misses the springboard drop kick.  Kyle chokes Lethal from the apron and Lethal grabs the injured arm and Lethal with an enzuigiri to the injured shoulder and Kyle goes to the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Lethal with forearms to the back.  Kyle lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex and Kyle goes for a Guillotine but Lethal with an arm wringer to send Kyle to the mat.  Kyle with a series of kicks and knees.  Kyle with a forearm and knee to the head.  Kyle with a kick to the back  but he misses a forearm.  Lethal hits the Lethal Combination but gets a near fall.  Lethal with a crossface and the injured arm is trapped.  Kyle gets to the ropes and Lethal releases the hold.

Lethal sets for a suicide dive and he connects and sends Kyle into the guardrails.  Lethal sets for another dive and he hits it and sends Kyle into the guardrails again.  Lethal hesitates before going for the third dive.  Lethal waits for Kyle to get up but he stays down and the referee checks on Kyle.

Lethal goes to the floor and he picks up Kyle and sends him into the ring.  Kyle drops down and Lethal goes over the top rope to the floor.  Kyle with a suicide dive of his own.  Kyle sends Lethal back into the ring and Kyle goes up top and hits a missile drop kick but Kyle writhes in pain from the landing. 

Jay gets to his feet first and he goes up top for the elbow drop and Kyle counters it with a cross arm breaker.  Lethal rolls Kyle over and he stomps on the injured shoulder. 

We go to commercial.

We are back and Lethal with a German suplex.  Kyle tries for a German suplex but he cannot lift up Lethal.  Lethal with a super kick and Kyle bounces off the ropes and hits a clothesline.  Kyle with a suplex but he cannot take advantage due to his arm.  Kyle gets a near fall.  Lethal with another crossface with the arm trapped.  Kyle tries to escape but Lethal rolls through.  Kyle hits a Regalplex and both men are down.

Lethal with a series of shoulder breakers to the injured arm and he calls for Lethal Injection, but Kyle is down.  Lethal talks to the referee about stopping the match.  Kyle refuses to let the referee stop the match.  Kyle and Lethal with forearms as they go back and forth.  They both hit forearms at the same time and Lethal with a kick to the shoulder and Lethal Injection for the three count.

Winner:  Jay Lethal

After the match, Lethal takes his belt and storms away.

Officials check on Kyle O’Reilly but Matt and Nick Jackson come back into the ring and they attack O’Reilly.  Adam Cole brings chairs into the ring and Cole hits a shoulder breaker. 

Security comes to the ring but they are held at bay by Cole with a chair.  Nick goes up top and hits an IndieTaker onto the chair.

Bobby Fish and Jay Lethal come to the ring to stop Cole and the Young Bucks.

Nigel gets on the mic and he says he has had enough of them.  Nigel says that Cole has said that as long as he is in Ring of Honor, Kyle will never be the champion.  Nigel says that as long as he is the matchmaker in Ring of Honor, Adam Cole will never get a world title match.

We go to credits.
