If you are booking the Title match at Battleground, what do you do?

I have Dean Ambrose retain so it helps build his credibility as champion and also keeps the Title on Smackdown, which will be a draw for the brand on its new night.  I have Roman Reigns take the fall as well, since I think that is appropriate after failing the Wellness Test.

I read what you wrote on the Smackdown draft and it changed my view of how they broke the shows up.  Do you hear from people often that tell you that something you wrote or said changed their mind?

I do hear from people that say things like that, and from others who say that what I said made them think of it from a different perspective.  It always makes me feel good to hear from people that are open to looking at things from a different point of view.

Nice surprise to see Patrick Clark on this week's episode of NXT.  He was by far and away the most talented and promising contestant on Tough Enough.  Looks like he put on quite a bit of muscle since the show, although his ring attire could use some tweaking.  What did you think of his debut as a jobber to Austin Aries?  Do you think they should use him in a jobber role for a while in order for him to gain experience going up against talented veterans like Aries, or should they push him right away by giving him some surprise wins?

I didn’t see him as a jobber.  I saw him as a young guy that lost to a veteran who had just shown a vicious side and will be a major player for the NXT brand.  I don’t think the loss is anything other than a good experience for a young talent.

Hey guys regarding the independent contractor vs employee issue. Even if they were an employee wouldn’t they be a part time employee? At most if they work every show in a week maybe 15-20 hours a week? I don't know Connecticut state law, but most states that wouldn't qualify you for benefits. Would WWE then have to pay for rental cars, hotels etc most likely, but not benefits.

You have your times wrong.  Talents are usually at the building at 1 p.m.  If they stay until 9 p.m., there’s 8 hours.  Plus, they would also be on business trips every week, since they travel to each event.  They would undoubtedly be full time employees.

What are your thoughts on Bret Hart's criticism of Seth Rollins being reckless in the ring? Months ago, Rollins crushed Cena's face with a kneelift. Was he reprimanded at all? Should he have been? Was Owen punished for almost killing Steve Austin with a piledriver back in '97? And last question: do you think Bret is sensitive to the issue since his career was ended by a stiff mule kick from Goldberg?

It was an accident.  Accidents happen.  I hear a lot of what comes across as bitterness to me in the things Bret says.  He is starting to sound like the old guy that yells at kids for playing on the street.
