How great was Jay Lethal vs. Jay Briscoe on Friday?

It was awesome. The whole show was outstanding. I say buy the replay! Ring Of Honor really delivered! Best In The World was a great show.

Are you as excited for the Cruiserweight Classic as I am?

Yes, I really am. I have been able to avoid spoilers so far, which is good. I expect that there will be great matches, of course. But beyond that, I love what it shows from WWE as a company and HHH as an executive. It shows that the mind is open to present other styles. That doesn’t mean we will ever see a major chance to the presentation we see on USA, but I love that the company is realizing that there is room for all kinds of styles on the WWE Network.

I just saw on your guys' site that WWE is apparently bringing back the Clash of Champions PPV so I gotta ask, wouldn't War Games be a great way to showcase the brand split? I know Kevin Dunn says it's a production nightmare, but I thought WCW always did a pretty damn good job presenting the match going back to the original. Secondly, with the WWE Network they could actually do something quite unique in having a dual simulcast and/or split screen scenario where you could have each commentary team calling the match separately focusing on their team. Lastly, as MITB has grown stale and the Elimination Chamber has disappeared, this could be used for a July PPV where the guy who gets the win gets a title shot at Summerslam. I'm interested in your thoughts on the dual simulcast especially.

It would be an interesting idea, and with larger TV screens not as hard to watch as it would have been when TVs were 27 inches. My one issue is if you do a Smackdown vs. Raw match, one brand has to win and then you are saying on brand is superior. That has happened in the past and hurt the split. WWE has to be very careful to not make that mistake again.

They way it is now, I will (try to) watch on Mondays, and then, three days later, watch SD. I like it cos it spaces it out. Especially when I fall asleep watching it, I can watch it again on another site. But now they will have them following each other, which seems like overload, and then nothing for a week. And are you serious??? 2 PPV's every month?? When I heard of the brand split, I thought they would just alternate months. Guess they really don't much care anymore about well-crafted, drawn out storylines. Oh Well. What are your thoughts on all this?

Well, when you put it like that! The flip side is, from a value standpoint, it makes your WWE Network subscription more valuable as you will get more bang for your buck. I think the point you made that needs to be realized that WWE needs to make a change to how they present their product. If they give the shows two distinct feels, and tighten up the holes in the creative process, then they could make the shows more exciting and keep you awake. But if they don’t, there are definitely going to be people that feel like you do and it will be overload for them

Mick Foley has been one of WWE's biggest fans and one of their most vocal critics and it's obviously rooted in a deep passion for wrestling. With that said, up until a few months ago he was mostly critical of WWE; given his status and his fan base, do you think WWE hired his son, gave him a show on their network, and hired his daughter in an attempt to placate and/or silence him to a degree?

Only they know for sure but honestly, I don’t think that WWE puts that much thought in silencing someone. Mick is a genuinely nice guy with a huge passion for the business. I think that WWE management knows that. They also know he is smart and talented.
