Fight Network Signs Global TV Deal with Canadian Pro Wrestling Promotion 'WrestleCentre'
Toronto | New York – Fight Network, the world’s premier 24/7 multi-platform channel dedicated to complete coverage of combat sports, today announced a programming deal with independent Canadian professional wrestling organization WrestleCentre to broadcast a weekly 1-hour series across the U.S., Canada and globally in over 30 countries in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Premiering on July 19, the weekly WrestleCentre Voltage series will air on Wednesdays at 2 a.m. ET in Canada, a late-night expansion of Fight Network’s Tuesday professional wrestling block, including TNA Wrestling content such as its two-hour flagship weekly program IMPACT WRESTLING and TNA Wrestling’s Greatest Matches, plus Ring of Honor Wrestling. A special 90-minute edition of WrestleCentre Votage will premiere on July 14 at 11:30 p.m. ET leading into the series debut the following week.
Fight Network’s extensive slate of professional wrestling programming also includes New Japan Pro Wrestling, Paragon Pro Wrestling, CMLL Wrestling and AAA: Lucha Libre Worldwide from Mexico, as well as Insane Championship Wrestling and British Wrestling Weekly from the U.K.
Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, WrestleCentre is the largest professional wrestling promotion in Canada. Since 2014, events have featured international stars such as Ethan Carter III, Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, Jake Roberts, Colt Cabana, Matt Sydal and 2 Cold Scorpio, plus local favorites JP Simms, Matt Bullen, Speedball Mike Bailey, Jeremy Prophet, Chip Chambers, Richard Shinary and Tommy Starr.
