ROH ON COMET REPORT: FINAL SHOW BEFORE BEST IN THE WORLD, BIG 8 MAN TAG MATCH WITH BULLET CLUB AND WORLD CHAMPION INVOLVED, AND MORE

We are in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and your announcers are Kevin Kelly and Nigel McGuinness.

Match Number One:  Gedo versus Dalton Castle (with The Boys)

Castle with a waist lock and Gedo with a standing switch.  Castle with a standing switch and take down into a dead lift side salto attempt but Gedo lands on his feet.  Castle goes for an O’Connor Roll but Gedo holds on to the ropes.  Castle looks at Gedo and he leans back further and further and he mesermizes Castle as Castle bridges.  Gedo charges at him and Castle with a drop toe hold followed by a dead lift side salto. 

Gedo tells the boys to go ahead and fan Gedo and Gedo appreciates it, but Gedo attacks the Boys.  Castle goes to the floor and Castle chases Gedo.  Gedo with a kick as Castle returns to the ring and we go to commercial.

We are back and Gedo with a rear chin lock.  Castle with elbows and punches.  Gedo with a punch and jabs to Castle.  Castle with an elbow and punch to Gedo and Gedo goes down.  Castle runs Gedo into the corner and hits a running knee and a second knee.  Castle with a waist and leg take over.  Castle sets for the Bang-O-Rang but Gedo counters with a sunset flip.  Gedo with a back heel kick and jaw breaker followed by a super kick for a near fall.

Castle distracts the referee and The Boys hit Gedo, allowing Castle to hit the Bang-O-Rang for the three count.

Winner:  Dalton Castle

We go to a video package for the Steve Corino and BJ Whitmer Fight Without Honor that will take place at Best in the World.

We go to commercial.
We are back and Adam Cole says that people have asked him if he is going to get involved in the World Title Match at Best in the World.  He will not, but he will pick up the scraps to become the next Ring of Honor World Champion.

We go to commercial.

We are back with footage related to the ROH World Title Match at Best in the World.

Match Number Two:  Tomohiro Ishii versus Will Ferrara

Ferrara with a chop and forearms but Ishii does not show any effect.  Ishii with a shoulder tackle but Ferrara pops up.  They exchange forearms and he tries for shoulder tackles but Ishii stays on his feet.  Ferrara with a drop kick.  Ferrara with a forearm to the back followed by a neck breaker for a near fall. 

Ishii blocks a slam attempt and Ishii with a forearm to the back followed by a slam for a near fall.  Ishii gets another near fall.  Ishii kicks Ferrara in the face and shows him no respect.  Ferrara comes off the ropes with a clothesline but Ishii stays on his feet.  A second clothesline sends Ishii to the mat.  Ferrara with a running elbow and then he hits a Samoan drop for a near fall.

Ferrara tries for a suplex but Ishii blocks it and hits a suplex of his own.  Ishii with chops and forearms followed by an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner.  Ishii with a near fall.  Ishii with forearms in the corner and then he slaps Ishii.  Ferrara with an inside cradle for a near fall.  Ishii with a clothesline.

Ishii hits a brainbuster for the three count.

Winner:  Tomohiro Ishii

We go to commercial.

We are back and Steve Corino makes his way to the ring. 

Steve introduces himself and he says he is an evil man.  The sound is sweet to his ears like a good catchphrase or a slogan on a t-shirt.  He says he is what he is.  He believes in destiny, but you don’t believe it until you see it in the mirror.  He has taken barbed wire to the flesh of Terry Funk, and he enjoyed it.

Steve says he took a young man and manipulated him to turn on his best friend, but it was all about him.  He says he accused Dusty Rhodes of cutting the brake lines on Magnum TA because of his jealousy.  He says he never apologized.

A few years ago, he decided he did not want to be that man any more.  He pulled off that shell and he found the love of a beautiful lady who was the beauty to his beast.

He says that BJ Whitmer is the biggest piece of trash for bringing in a family member who was not part of the industry.

Steve says he vowed to his wife and son he would not go back to that person.  Steve says BJ will pay.  You claimed that he wore a mask, but it was not Mr. Wrestling 3.  It is a man who wears the mask of a suit to appease Kevin Kelly.  He is a man who wears glasses and dyes his hair black to fit in.  You can call this whatever you want, but Steve is already in a special place in hell and he will take BJ with him.

Steve says he will do thinks that he will not apologize for.  He calls BJ a piece of trash and he tells him to look into his eyes.  He says that BJ will not be in Ring of Honor after Best in the World because he is taking out the trash.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Three:  Matt Jackson, Kenny Omega, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Roa versus Roderick Strong, Jay Lethal (with Taeler Hendrix), Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe

(For this Match, Jay Lethal will be referred to as “Lethal”, Jay Briscoe will be referred to as “Jay”, Tama Tonga will be referred to as “Tama”, and Tonga Roa will be referred to as “Roa”)

Jackson and Mark start things off and Matt with a thumb to the eye and a kick followed by forearms and crotch chops to everyone.  Lethal comes in and that allows Mark to connect with a chop and he puts Matt in a side head lock and follows with a shoulder tackle.  Mark with a crane kick and Matt blocks it.  Mark lands on his feet and he hits a kick and gets a near fall.

Mark with a front face lock and Strong tags in and kicks Matt.

Strong with chops.  Strong floats over on an Irish whip but Matt with a spinning back elbow.  Omega tags in and so does Lethal.  Omega tags in Roa before doing anything in the ring.  Lethal goes after Omega but Roa hits him from behind.  Roa gets Lethal up and Omega tags in.  Roa with a belly-to-back suplex and Omega with a cover before he kicks Lethal.  Omega is sent into the corner and Lethal with punches.

Lethal with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot.  Omega flips over Lethal but Lethal with a hip toss followed by a cartwheel and drop kick.  Jay tags in and he kicks Omega in the corner.  Jay sends Omega into the turnbuckles and Mark tags in.  Mark with a splash on Omega followed by chops.  Jay is tagged in and Jay with a back elbow.

Omega rakes the eyes and all eight men get in the ring and the referee does a good job of watching.  It breaks down to Omega and Lethal but Lethal sends Omega to the floor.  Lethal with a suicide dive to Tama followed by one to Roa.  Lethal is tripped by Omega and pulled to the floor and send into the guardrails.  Omega stands in the ring and he is met with a drop kick from Strong when Omega sets for a suicide dive.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Strong tries to put Omega on the turnbuckles but Omega with forearms and an elbow.  Omega with a leaping leg lariat to Strong and Jackson tags in and he sends Strong to the apron. Matt with super kicks to everyone else.  Matt hits a super kick on Strong.  Jackson sends Strong back into the ring and he goes up top and he comes off and then lands on his feet and hits a super kick to the side of the head for a near fall.

Strong with a back body drop and Strong blocks a super kick and he sends Matt to the mat.  Mark tags in and so does Tama and Mark with a clothesline for a near fall.  Mark with a forearm.  Tama runs around Mark and hits a drop kick.  Tama tries for a suplex but mark lands on his feet and he hits a series of palm thrusts.  Tama with a reverse Roll the Dice.  Omega and Lethal tag in and they exchange punches.
Omega with a jumping knee and Lethal with a super kick.  Lethal sets for Lethal Injection but Omega blocks it.  He holds Lethal for Matt but Matt super kicks Omega.  Matt super kicks Roa when Lethal moves.  Lethal super kicks Tama.  Lethal goes for Lethal Injection again and Omega catches him goes for One Winged Angel, but Lethal gets to his feet.  Lethal hits the first neck breaker for the Lethal Combination but Omega with a Dragon suplex.

Jay and Roa tag in and Jay with a boot to the head.  Jay with jabs to Jackson and connects with a head butt.  Matt with a spear and then Mark goes up top but misses.  Mark with an exploder to Matt.  Strong with a forearm to Matt followed by a sick kick.  Roa holds Jay for a double super kick but Lethal walks in front and takes the double super kick from Jackson and Omega.

They get pulled to the floor by Mark and Strong.  Jay with the Jay Driller to Roa for the three count.

Winners:  Mark Briscoe, Jay Letal, Jay Briscoe, and Roderick Strong

After the match, Strong leaves the ring and the Briscoes question what Strong did.

Jay Lethal and Jay Briscoe stand face to face in the ring.

We go to credits.
