WHY TRIPLE H IS IN CHINA, WWE ROSTER UPDATE, ONE CRUISERWEIGHT TALENT WHO WAS BOOKED BUT WON'T BE IN THE CLASSIC & MORE NEWS

Triple H is in China this week, overseeing a WWE tryout there.  WWE referee Shawn Bennett is also over there for the tryouts.

As we reported in the Elite section of PWInsider.com, WWE has been reaching out to a number of former talents over the last several days, checking on their interest in coming back to work for the company once the brand split takes place this July.  So, as much as there is talk of raiding the NXT brand for new talents, the company is also looking into bringing back tenured veteran talents as well.

With WWE having announced all 32 competitors in the Cruiserweight Classic, it should be noted that former TNA X-Division champion The Amazing Red was initially slated for the tournament.  We are told that Red recently suffered a broken ankle, which won't be healed in time for the tournament when it kicks off on 6/23.

There are plans for NXT to run New Orleans in early August, which would be the first time the brand has run there.

Chris Jericho will be on ESPN Sportscenter tonight with Jonathan Coachman to promote Money in the Bank.
