5/27 ICW FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHT CLUB REPORT

By Jonathan Armak on 2016-05-31 11:49:00

Here are the results/spoilers for ICW’s Friday Night Fight Club that will air on ICW On Demand over the next few weeks. They were taped as per usual at The Garage in Glasgow, Scotland in the buildup to Shug’s Hoose Party III, which has become the ICW equivalent to Summerslam. The ICW Tag Team Championship tournament continued, naming semi finalists (in lieu of the departure of Polo Promotions who won the championships in their final match at Barramania back in April), and the ICW Women’s Championship and the ICW Zero-G Championships were defended as well. Absent from the tapings were notably Grado (who defeated Chris Renfrew at the last set of tapings to win a future Championship opportunity), and ICW World Heavyweight Champion Big Damo.

**Note From Editor: Thank you to the fans of PWInsider for your great patience for regular ICW coverage on the regular again. Life has many things that can encompass us, and not allow us to take time to do things we do for fun, and for pure enjoyment, and for me that was writing ICW coverage for PWInsider.com. I want to thank Dave Scherer and Mike Johnson for supporting me and having my back as I dealt with a lot of personal issues and was not able to dedicate the time I wanted to PWInsider, and again to Dave for keeping the coverage going, such as the HUGE announcement of Kurt Angle wrestling at Fear and Loathing [Holy crap right?!]. For the fans who have reached out to me on Twitter to give me props for my coverage, thank you, it’s my pleasure as a journalist to have the opportunity to write for one of my favorite sites. Expect regular coverage going forward. It’s my pleasure being part of the team here at PWInsider. –Jonathan**
