The first teaser trailer for the comedy "The Bet", a film about a guy, Denton, who makes a ridiculous bet promising that he can track down and hook up with every girl from 1st to 12th grade that he had a childhood crush on, has been released and features quite the professional wrestling pedigree in the cast:
The Bet stars former WCW World champion Diamond Dallas Page as Mr. Baker, an eccentric inventor and the father of Denton, the character trying to run the gauntlet with his old crushes. WWE Hall of Famer Jake Roberts is also featured in the film as Mr. Lucas, a successful businessman whose company is up for grabs as part of the bet.
The legendary Roddy Piper is also featured in the film, which was one of the final projects he worked on and as it turns out, will be his final on screen appearance, as Denton's confused neighbor.
Tommy Dreamer also makes a cameo in the film, as do Public Enemy frontman Chuck D, Jackass' Dave England and comedians Gerry Bednob, Dave England and Dian Bachar.
"The Bet" will be released this July.
