DOES NO DQ MEAN YOU CAN'T PUT YOUR LEG ON THE ROPE, #BULLETCLUB, DANGERS OF WRESTLERS TANNING AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2016-05-07 10:00:00

Do you think Vince was telling JBL to compare the League of Nations to the Four Horsemen, or he kept doing that on his own? And, if it was Vince, is it an even more ridiculous comparison now that they've been completely jobbed out and seemingly split up?

My guess is that JBL was doing that on his own to try and push The League of Nations as a lethal force.  I can't knock him for doing his job.

First off love the site!   Thanks.   Tragically we've seen too many wrestlers die prematurely related to the hardships of the industry and drug/alcohol abuse.    With exception of Sheamus and Paige, it seems like practically every wrestler uses tanning beds.   There have been cases associated with skin cancer and tanning beds, but ironically I've never heard of any wrestler with skin cancer.   Am I missing something or is this just great fortune?

I can think of at least two wrestlers that I know of that have been diagnosed with skin cancer and had it treated, so it's absolutely a possibility of happening.  Certainly tanning, just like anything else, can be harmful is done too often.

I enjoy the NJPW show on AXS. It's nice to hear Jim Ross calling wrestling again. My question is, how have the ratings been this season; is that up or down from an average rating from last year, and is there any information from the recent past about how the network feels about the show?

The word is that the cable network has been happy with the ratings.  Whether they have been up or not I can't say as the ratings for the network are not released to the best of my knowledge.

Is it true that WWE has somehow managed to trademark #bulletclub? As in The hashtag being part of the trademark and the difference between the name owned by New Japan.

I don't believe that to be the case.

Last night WWE PPV.  Steph made it a No DQ after Shane made it No Count Outs.  So when AJ pins Roman and Roman puts his leg over the bottom rope. The Ref stops the 3 count.  The Ref should not have stopped the 3 count, the Ref should have counted to 3.  Am I correct on a No Count Outs and No DQ Match ? If I am, then AJ should be the New WWE World Champion.  I was thinking a No CO and No DQ match has to have a winner and legs over the ropes and using the ropes does`t matter in these types of matches..

The referee should not have counted.  Putting your leg on the rope wouldn't be something that could cause someone to be disqualified.
