ROH TELEVISION REPORT: MORE MATCHES FROM HONOR RISING THIS WEEK AND MORE TO COME NEXT WEEK

We are in Tokyo, Japan with matches from the Honor Rising show featuring talent from Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling.  Your announcers are Kevin Kelly and Mr. Wrestling 3.

(Because the matches are available on New Japan World, I am providing the full match coverage so some action may possibly not be on the Sinclair broadcast).

 

Match Number One:  Tetsuya Naito and Jay Lethal (with Truth Martini) versus Kazuchika Okada and YOSHI-HASHI (with Gedo)

Lethal and Naito appear to be having some communication issues before the match starts.

Okada and Lethal start things off.  They lock up and Lethal with a wrist lock but Okada rolls through to reverse.  Lethal with a back flip to reverse the wrist lock.  Okada with a kip up and reversal into a hammer lock.  Lethal with a snap mare but Okada with a hammer lock.  Lethal with a reversal into a side head lock.  Okada with forearms but Lethal with a shoulder tackle.  Lethal with a kick and he calls for Lethal Injection but Okada catches Lethal.  Okada misses the Rainmaker and they have a stand off.

Lethal pushes Okada and Okada with forearms.  Lethal with a hip toss followed by a cartwheel and drop kick for a near fall.  Naito does not want to tag in at first, but he eventually does, but that allows Okada to tag in YOSHI.  Naito with a kick and forearms.  Naito with more kicks.  Naito with a side head lock and then he slides to the floor on an Irish whip and he avoids YOSH on a baseball slide.  YOSHI with an arm drag and a slam.  YOSHI puts Naito on the top rope and Okada holds him.   Lethal trips YOSHI and hits a suicide dive onto YOSHI followed by a drop kick to knock Naito off the apron.

YOSHI is sent back in by Lethal and Lethal wants the tag.  Naito obliges and Lethal sends YOSHI into the turnbuckles and kicks him.  Lethal with a chop but YOSHI with an Irish whip.  Lethal with an Irish whip and YOSHI floats over and chops Lethal.  YOSHI tries to float over a third time but Lethal catches YOSHI and crotches him on the top rope.  Lethal with a drop kick to knock YOSHI to the floor.

YOSHI rolls back in and Lethal sends him into the turnbuckles.  Naito tags in and he kicks YOSHI.  Naito tags Lethal back in because he has had enough at this point.  Lethal with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall.  Naito is tagged back in and Naito with an Irish whip.  Naito knocks Okada off the apron before he goes to the apron and trips YOSHI followed by a slingshot baseball slide into the corner. 

Naito gets a near fall.  YOSHI with forearms but Naito with a forearm.  YOSHI has a kick blocked but he hits a mule kick followed by a codebreaker and both men are down.  Okada tags in and he connects with a forearm and he knocks Lethal off the apron.  Okada with a kick but Lethal with a forearm to the back.  Okada with a flapjack to Lethal.  Okada with a splash into the corner followed by a kick and DDT.  Okada kips up and he hits a running European uppercut for a near fall. 

Okada with a slam and he goes up top.  Okada leaps over Naito and Naito with a boot in the corner.  Okada with a forearm.  Naito with a reverse atomic drop followed by a tornado DDT.  Both men are down.  Lethal tags in and he slams Okada.  Lethal goes up top for the elbow drop but Okada gets to his feet.  Lethal with a forearm but he runs into a boot.  Lethal with the Lethal Combination for a near fall.  Lethal has Naito come into the ring and he wants to Irish whip Okada into the corner.  Lethal misses a splash into the corner.  Naito with a full nelson to hold Okada for Lethal, but Lethal’s super kick misses its target and hits Naito instead.

Okada with a forearm to Lethal’s back.  Okada with a drop kick and Lethal eventually goes down.  Okada tags in YOSHI and YOSHI with forearms and chops.  YOSHI with a neck breaker and then he gets Lethal up for a suplex but he turns it into a neck breaker for a near fall.  Okada with an Irish whip and YOSHI with an elbow and Okada with an elbow.  YOSHI with a blockbuster for a near fall.  Okada sends Naito to the floor and he sends Naito into the guardrail.  YOSHI tries for a power bomb but Lethal with a back body drop to counter.

Lethal misses with the Book of Truth and YOSHI with a clothesline.  YOSHI with a slam and he goes up top.  Truth grabs the leg but YOSHI kicks him away.

EVIL pushes YOSHI off the turnbuckles.  Lethal throws the Book of Truth to the floor and Naito with a super kick to Okada on the floor while Lethal hits Lethal Injection for the three count.

Winners:  Tetsuya Naito and Jay Lethal

After the match, Naito reads from the Book of Truth and he attacks YOSHI-HASHI and hits YOSHI with the book.  Naito kicks YOSHI-HASHI out of the ring.  Los Ingobernales and House of Truth celebrate together in the ring.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two:  KUSHIDA versus Frankie Kazarian in a Non Title Match

They lock up in a Greco Roman knuckle lock and Kazarian gets KUSHIDA to the mat with the advantage.  KUSHIDA gets back to his feet and he gains the advantage momentarily.  KUSHIDA bridges and Kazarian gets on top of him.  Kazarian tries to use his body weight but KUSHIDA counters into an attempted Hoverboard lock but Kazarian gets to the ropes.  KUSHIDA with a waist lock and Kazarian with a standing switch and waist lock take down.  KUSHIDA with a front face lock and Kazarian escapes.  KUSHIDA rides Kazarian and then lets him go.

Kazarian with a kick and forearm to the back.  Kazarian with a punch to the head and then he sends KUSHIDA into the turnbuckles.  KUSHIDA with a reverse atomic drop and drop kick to the knee followed by a drop kick to the head.  KUSHIDA with a wrist lock and arm wringer.  Kazarian holds on to the ropes to prevent an Irish whip.  KUSHIDA with a back body drop that sends Kazarian over the top rope to the floor.

Kazarian with a thumb to the eyes from the apron and he drops KUSHIDA on the top rope.  Kazarian with a slingshot DDT.  Kazarian kicks KUSHIDA in the shoulder and then he Irish whips KUSHIDA and Kazarian with a side Russian leg sweep.  Kazarian chokes KUSHDA in the ropes and the referee warns him.  Kazarian runs KUSHIDA groin first into the turnbuckles and then Kazarian with a lungblower for a near fall.

KUSHIDA chops Kazarian and follows with a forearm.  Kazarian with a forearm.  KUSHIDA goes for a sunset flip but Kazarian does not go over and he drops a knee on KUSHIDA.  Kazarian with an Irish whip and he runs into a boot.  KUSHIDA is sent to the apron and he hits an enzuigiri followed by a springboard drop kick.  KUSHIDA goes up top and hits a swanton onto Kazarian on the floor.

KUSHIDA sends Kazarian back into the ring and KUSHIDA misses a charge into the corner.  Kazarian goes to the apron and he tries for a slingshot move but KUSHIDA catches Kazarian and applies a cross arm breaker.  Kazarian rakes the eyes to escape.  Kazarian with a forearm but KUSHIDA with a forearm of his own.  They go back and forth with Kazarian getting an advantage until KUSHIDA connects with a few kicks.  KUSHIDA goes for a handspring move but Kazarian catches him and hits an Electric Chair drop and bridge for a near fall.  Kazarian puts KUSHIDA on the turnbuckles and he goes up top as well.  Kazarian goes for the Flux Capacitor but KUSHIDA blocks it.  Kazarian sets for a superplex but KUSHIDA blocks it.  KUSHDA with a super Divorce Court followed by a kick.  KUSHIDA with an arm drag and he tries for the Hoverboard Lock but he cannot fully apply it at first but he is able to roll through and Kazarian taps out.

Winner:  KUSHIDA

We go to commercial.

We are back and Mark Briscoe has taken a camera crew with him through Tokyo.  Mark is asking some of the people of Tokyo if they have seen Godzilla.  Mark also tries to figure out if he wants noodles or rice to eat.  Mark is mesmerized by a moving noodle display.  Mark reminds us that Mount Fuji is named after Mr. Fuji.  Mark also shows us how to deal with an earthquake.  Mark takes us around the New Japan store.  Mark is shocked to see a store with a graphic of a chicken in front and he says that he is home.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Three:  Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson versus Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly, and Katsuyori Shibata

Omega pie faces Shibata before the bell and Shibata with a forearm.  O’Reilly, Fish, and the Jacksons start throwing punches as the referee starts the match.  Kyle with punches to Matt while Bobby punches Nick.  Matt and Nick with kicks while Omega and Shibata go to the back.  Omega sends Shibata into a wall.

Matt and Nick go for sunset flips but Bobby and Kyle stay on their feet and they apply cross arm breakers.  Omega breaks up the submission holds but Shibata with a cross arm breaker to Omega.  Matt power bombs Kyle onto Bobby and Kenny power bombs Shibata onto Kyle.

Nick with a baseball slide to Kyle.  Matt with a baseball slide to Bobby.  Kenny goes for a baseball slide on Shibata but Shibata moves and Shibata connects with a European uppercut.  Nick with a running drop kick to Shibata while Matt had Shibata in a head scissors.  Omega hits Shibata with a chair while Matt and Nick hit stereo suicide dives onto Fish and O’Reilly. 

Omega with a flip dive onto Shibata, Fish, and O’Reilly.  Omega with a Sexy Party and he returns to the ring to deal with Fish.  Omega chokes Fish with his t-shirt while the referee is out of position.  Nick chokes Fish while the referee is not looking.  Matt tags in and Omega with a back breaker.  Matt with a swinging neck breaker onto Nick’s knee.  Nick gets a near fall.  Nick with a back rake to Fish.  Nick kicks Fish in the corner while telling Fish to suck it.  Nick tells the referee to suck it as well.  Matt tags in and they Irish whip Fish but Fish moves and he kicks Nick and Matt.  Fish with an Exploder of Nick into Matt.

O’Reilly tags in and he hits a running forearm into the corner followed by a knee from Fish and a running kick from Kyle.  Fish with a back breaker and then Kyle comes off the turnbuckles with a knee to the chest.  Kyle gets a near fall.  They set for Chasing the Dragon but Fish is pulled out of the ring and Matt hits a jaw breaker on Kyle.  Shibata and Omega tag in and Shibata with forearms.

Omega with a running back elbow into the corner followed by forearms to Shibata.  Omega with a rake of the eyes and more kicks.  Shibata with a Yakuza Kick and he chokes Omega in the corner.  Shibata with a running hesitation drop kick into the corner.  Shibata with a suplex for a near fall.  Shibata with a choke on Omega but Matt and Nick with double sledges and they have no effect.  Shibata with forearms to Matt and Nick.  Shibata runs into a double super kick.  Omega gets up for a triple super kick but Fish and O’Reilly break up the cover.

Fish sends Matt to the floor and then Fish goes over the top rope to the floor.  Nick with a tornado DDT off the apron.  Omega with a full nelson but Shibata with a standing switch and waist lock.  Shibata with a drop kick and both men are down.  Kyle tags in and he connects with forearms to Matt and Nick.  Matt has a super kick blocked and then he gives Matt’s leg to Nick for a double dragon screw leg whip.  Kyle with a running forearm to Omega followed by a running boot into the corner.  Kyle tries for a tornado DDT but Omega stops him and counters into a gourdbuster throw.  Matt and Nick with a double super kick to knock Fish off the apron.  Omega holds Kyle for Nick but Nick misses the super kick and hits Omega instead when Kyle moves out of the way.  Kyle with kicks and knees to Nick.  Nick with a handspring and then he blocks a super kick and sends Nick’s foot into Matt’s face.

Kyle with kicks to Nick but Matt with a super kick.  Kyle with a rebound clothesline to Matt and Nick but Omega with a jumping knee strike.  Omega gets Kyle up for One Winged Angel, but Kyle counters into a guillotine.  Matt iwht forearms to the back but he keeps the hold.  Shibata with a sleeper to Matt.  Matt super kicks Shibata off the apron.  Matt sprays Kyle in the face and then they hit an alley oop Indietaer.  Omega with One Winged Angel for the three count.

Winners:  Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, and Kenny Omega
