WHY WOULD WWE WANT CONOR MCGREGOR?, TEAM TREMENDOUS, TRADEMARKING NAKAMURA AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2016-04-21 10:00:00

Aside from making an appearance, would Vince really want to sign McGregor? I mean, if what Dana said is true and this whole incident stems from McGregor no showing a promotional appearance then wouldn't that make him a liability if he were to sign with wwe too?

If it was true, it's something WWE would have to take into account.  I have no idea if there's any actual chance of it and my guess is that even if he retired from UFC, his contract would prevent something like this if he hasn't fulfilled all his fights with the MMA promotion.  That said, If you don't think WWE wouldn't want to sign UFC's current top grossing PPV performer for even an appearance, you are sorely mistaken.  They are in the business of doing things that will bring outside eyeballs to their product.  McGregor could do that.

What happened to Paragon Pro Wrestling on MSG Network? They been running infomercials instead of PPW the last several weeks.

Paragon itself was an infomerrcial as they were playing for the timeslot.  They announced a few weeks ago they would no longer be on MSG.  It may be they decided to curb that expenditure.  They are now on the FITE App and you can stream their show there online.

How is WWE able to trademark the name Shinsuke Nakamura? Isn't that his birth name? What would happen if he left the company and they still owned the copyright?

They are trademarking it with his approval.  Since it's his real name, they couldn't prevent him from using it elsewhere.

I was at the house of hardcore 12 last night and i have 2 questions.  This was my second time seeing Team Tremendous and i cant stress enough how good these guys are. Even my 9 year old son said that he liked the 6 man tag with them the most. Why arent these guys picked up by WWE? Has there ever been any concideration to bring them in? They certainly deserve the chance.  Second question is regarding "the bell boy". I always see this kid working bell boy duties and his facial expressions along with obvious respect and passion for what goes on in the ring and those involved is unquestionable. Who is he? I felt bad for him that a group of fans next to me kept hackling him, but at the end he got his moment so it all worked out.

Bill Carr of Team Tremendous was under a WWE developmental deal at one point, so they are aware of him.  I don't know if they've ever given his partner, Dan Barry, a tryout.  They are a great team and certainly would deserve a shot anywhere on a larger scale because while they do all sorts of great athletic moves, they also have a really fun charisma that they also bring to the table.  They've become a great calling card for the House of Hardcore.  Bell Boy is a student at the HOH school who's doing a great job with the spot they've given him.

Why hasn't the Cody Rhodes character returned to WWE TV? Is it because Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn found the character to be boring and not as marketable as Stardust?

There's more money to be made with Stardust.
