For the second week in a row, former WWE champion Alberto Del Rio did not appear as advertised for WWE live events. Del Rio was pulled from last week's live events but did appear for Raw. He was not at last week's Smackdown taping.
This weekend, Del Rio was scheduled for the Northeast loop starting with last night's Madison Square Garden but again, did not appear. We are told he was pulled from the weekend a few days ago.
As previously reported on PWInsider.com, Del Rio had been dealing with some lower back issues. Whether that factored into him missing the last two weeks of live events remains to be seen.
