I was reading about Kazarian and how he was in WWE and then left after being asked to cut his hair. Is that the truth?
Pretty much. As the story goes, he was asked by Vince McMahon about cutting his hair and felt, at the time, he didn't want to do that. So, he asked for a release and received it. He later found his way with TNA and now, ROH.
Who's the one independent name you are surprised never really got a shot anywhere?
I don't think this name will be familiar to anyone outside of the NYC area, but in the early to mid-1990s, there was a really talented wrestler by the name of Chris Michaels who had a great sense of timing and finesse for working in the ring. I always thought he should have gotten a look by someone but other than some matches in the early era of Eastern Championship Wrestling, it never happened. There are lots of names who had the chance to at least get a job, but I don't know that he ever did.
Where is Low Ki these days?

To WWE? Eventually, but given how the company felt about the racial comments, I wouldn't blame them for maintaining their distance for some time to come.

Adrian Adonis, Eddie Gilbert, Dick Murdoch and Lou Thesz.
