WWE RAW REPORT: THE ROAD TO WRESTLEMANIA STARTS WITH THE ACCESS ROAD TO THE ROYAL RUMBLE; A NEW DAY, SOME OLD FACES, AND HONOR COMES TO RAW

We are back and Renee Young is with Miz and Damien Sandow.

Renee asks Miz how is he going to do against Jimmy Uso. Miz says a long time ago in a land far away, there was a man named Jimmy Uso who was tag team champion. His jealousy towards the Miz was his downfall. The only way Jimmy will be on the red carpet is if he accompanies his wife. Jimmy is ruining any opportunity she may have to make herself. Tonight will see the credits run on the story of Jimmy Uso.

The Rosebuds are in the back and he says that he has a huge announcement. They are going to have the biggest after party in history after his match.

The Bunny points out that Kane is here and he they are not happy.

Kane says that he doesn’t like Rose’s noise or friends. Kane tells Rose he has a match and it is next.

Rose asks who his match is against and Kane says it is against him. Party over.

Match Number Four: Adam Rose (with Rosebuds) versus Kane

Rose with kicks and punches to Kane but Kane avoids an Irish whip and he sends Rose over the top rope to the floor. Kane goes to the floor and Rose returns to the ring and he punches Kane. Rose avoids a slam attempt and Rose with an elbow. Rose with a running clothesline into the corner.

Kane with a boot and Rose goes down. Kane grabs Rose by the throat and the Bunny goes up top and he is met with a hand to the throat and he hits a double choke slam and he pins Rose.

Winner: Kane

After the match, Kane sees the Bunny in the ring and Kane is feeling Fuddy. Kane with a tombstone piledriver to the Bunny.

In case you missed the opening segment, we see highlights.

” Paul Heyman is getting ready for his match in the locker room.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Erick Rowan will face Kane on Main Event tomorrow night. Main Event starts at 7:00 on the WWE Network (before the live Smackdown).

Paul says that he does not have any tricks up his sleeve. Paul says that he could use a number of analogies like he is the “Jew in Jujitsu” but he doesn’t find anything funny or entertaining about this. This is disturbing because he knows how much of a crowd pleaser Jericho is. This beating will be anything but Rated PG. He may have given Jericho his greatest career break in ECW and now he is a best seller, hosts a podcast, and is a musician. How can Chris fight him over $200 from 20 years ago.

Paul says it is the principle so why not call it even. He can give Chris his $200 and we can call it a pass. Paul pulls out his checkbook but Chris swats it away and kicks it out of the ring.

Chris says he doesn’t want $200. He wants to see what type of match we get.

Paul says that if you think he is going to back down . . . he doesn’t understand why you are going to go with an app. Is it fair to get into a fight with . . . BROCK LESNAR.

Match Number Five: Chris Jericho versus Paul Heyman (played by Brock Lesnar) in a Street Fight

Brock walks around the ring and then he does the Brock Bounce before leaping to the apron.

Jericho with a forearm and Brock blocks a Codebreaker and Brock with an F-5.

Brock and Paul leave the ring and go to the back.

Fandango and Rosa Mendes are in the ring. We go to commercial.

We are back and Rosa and Fandango are still dancing.

Fandango has Chris’ Slammy and he has something to say. He says that it looks Raw is Jericho is now Raw was Jericho. Just like his Wrestlemania . . .

Roman Reigns interrupts and he appears in the crowd and makes his way to the ring.

Fandango waits in the ring for Reigns to make that long walk down the aisle.

Fandango starts to say something and Reigns with an uppercut and spear.

Before Reigns can say anything, Big Show comes out.

Reigns tells Show if he comes down to the ring, he will hit him in the mouth.

Show tells Reigns he would like to see that. He says that Reigns made a mistake by putting his hands on him last night, Pretty Boy. Show says that he will put Reigns back on the injured list.

Reigns hits Show with a Superman punch as he gets on the apron but Show does not go down. Show picks up the top portion of the steps and throws it at the apron.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a Moments Ago Moment of Roman Reigns attacking Fandango with a spear followed by a Superman Punch to Big Show that did not knock him out.

Match Number Five: Miz (with Damien Sandow) versus Jimmy Uso (with Jey Uso)

Miz goes to the floor as soon as the bell rings. Miz returns to the ring and he gets out of the ring as soon as he re-enters. Miz returns to the ring and Miz wants Jimmy to make a move. Miz is acting because he runs to the floor. Miz misses a punch and Jimmy with a slam and we see Naomi watching from the back.

Jimmy with chops to Miz. Jimmy with another slam with some emphasis. Miz is pushed into the corner and Jimmy with chops. Jimmy punches Miz in the corner and Sandow suffers as much as Miz. Miz with an elbow to Jimmy but Jimmy with a double leg take down and he punches Miz.

Miz drops Jimmy on the top rope as he goes to the floor. Miz goes up top and he is met with an uppercut. Jimmy with a chop and Miz goes to the floor. Jimmy has a baseball slide blocked and Miz kicks Jimmy in the head. Miz stops Sandow from recreating what Miz did. Miz runs Jimmy into the apron and then he sends Jimmy back into the ring and he gets a near fall.

Miz with a version of the Last Chancery. Miz tries for Reality Check but Jimmy escapes. Miz is able to hit it and he gets a near fall. Miz punches Jimmy and then he kicks Jimmy. Jimmy with clotheslines and then he clotheslines Miz over the top rope to the floor.

Jimmy with a plancha onto Miz and Sandow goes down from a distance. Miz is sent back into the ring and Jimmy with a cross body for a near fall. Miz tries for the Figure Four but Jimmy sends Miz into the turnbuckles and he hits a Samoan Drop. Sandow goes into the ring and falls into the turnbuckles. The referee tries to send Sandow to the floor and Jey hits Miz with the Slammy and then Jimmy with a super kick and Superfly splash for the three count.

Winner: Jimmy Uso

We see Naomi celebrating her husband’s victory in the back.

We are back and Naomi is walking in the back and Miz stops her. Miz says that Naomi has to choose between him or her husband. Miz says that he is a man of his word and since he is still champion, he is trying to get Naomi her music deal. He knows that she wants to be Divas champion more than anything. He will give Naomi the chance to speak to the world because Naomi will be his guest on MizTV.

Miz says that he is doing this because he knows how talented Naomi is. Miz says that we can agree that Naomi’s husband won’t have a problem with that. Miz reminds Naomi that this is a huge opportunity so maybe she doesn’t tell her husband about it.

Michael wonders if Naomi will really not tell her husband.

Renee Young is in the interview area with Seth Rollins.

Seth says that he wants to say that this is getting ridiculous. A short 24 hours after his hellacious match at TLC against John Cena and he is expected to be in a steel cage with the man who cost him two of the biggest matches of his career. It happened because this place is a madhouse. This place is unsafe. He says that he is safe because of J&J.

Seth reminds us of what happened to Chris Jericho. Chris may have run his mouth and may have deserved that, but that is not the point. We need the guidance and control of The Authority. We need them back in power. A normal man would not be standing here, but Seth says that he is no normal human being. He will go out and finish what he started at TLC. He will teach John Cena a lesson he will not soon forget.

It is time for the main event so it is time for the Official Cage Lowering Music of the WWE.

We are back and next week, HoHo Hogan will be on Raw.

Match Number Six: John Cena versus Seth Rollins (with Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble) in a Steel Cage Match

Rollins climbs the cage and Cena grabs him and pulls him back in. Cena punches Rollins but Rollins with a back heel kick. Cena blocks being sent into the cage and Rollins with a kick to Cena. Rollins sends Cena face first into the cage. Rollins punches Cena and he hits a running forearm into the corner. Cena with a double leg take down and he tries to catapult Rollins into the cage and Rollins lands on the cage and he starts to climb.

Cena stops Rollins and he sends Rollins into the cage and follows with a bulldog off the top rope for a near fall. Cena climbs the cage and Mercury distracts Cena and allows Rollins to try to get out the door. Cena stops Rollins and then Rollins stops Cena. They are both hanging out the door but Cena grabs Seth’s legs and pulls him back into the cage.

Cena with an Irish whip but Rollins with an elbow and block buster for a near fall. Rollins climbs the cage but Cena stops him and Cena gets Rollins on his shoulders but Rollins counters into a buckle bomb. Rollins gets a near fall. We go to commercial.

We are back and both men are down. Cena blocks a punch and he punches Rollins. Cena with two shoulder tackles followed by a Blue Thunder Bomb. Cena waves his hand in front of his face but Rollins kicks Cena and he tries to send Cena into the cage but Cena blocks it. Cena with a Blue Thunder Bomb followed by an Attitude Adjustment and then he sends Rollins into the cage to knock Mercury off. Cena with an Attitude Adjustment for a near fall.

The referee opens the cage door and Cena tries to go out but Noble closes the door. Cena knocks Noble off the steps but Rollins is able to recover and he sets for a superplex but Cena punches Rollins. Cena sends Rollins’ head into the cage and then he hits a Rocker Dropper for a near fall.

Cena climbs the cage to try to escape but Rollins stops him. Rollins pulls Cena to the mat and Rollins starts to climb. Cena gets Rollins on his shoulders but Rollins grabs the cage and he kicks Cena away. Rollins with a knee to the side of the head and he gets a near fall. Rollins tells Cena this is what he asked for and what he wanted. Rollins sends Cena into the cage.

Rollins yells at Cena for costing him two of the biggest matches in his career and now Cena is going to pay. Rollins sends Cena face first into the cage. Rollins tries to send Cena into the cage again, but since it is the third time he tried, Cena reverses and sends Rollins into the cage. Both men are down. Cena starts to crawl to the door but Mercury slams the door in Cena’s head and Rollins gets a near fall.

Cena avoids Black Out and Cena applies the STF but Rollins crawls to the door and he sends Cena’s throat into the rope. Cena pulls Rollins back in and we have a human tug of war but Cena wins. The briefcase is put into the ring and Rollins lands on his feet when Cena pulls him away from the ropes. Rollins with a near fall.

Rollins picks up the briefcase and he prepares to use it but he misses. Cena with a clothesline that flips Rollins and both men are down. Rollins with punches and Cena fires back. They go back and forth and Cena gets Rollins on his shoulders but Rollins lands on his feet and he hits Cena with the briefcase but Cena kicks out.

Rollins climbs the cage and he is on top. Cena gets up top and he has Rollins by the arm and he pulls Rollins onto the top of the cage. Cena gets Rollins on his shoulders for a super Attitude Adjustment and he hits it but both men are down.

The door is open and Brock Lesnar’s music plays.

Brock has his title belt and Paul Heyman with him as he walks to the ring.

Lesnar enters the cage and he looks at both men but his focus is on John Cena. Brock with a German suplex and he holds on for a second one. Brock with a third German suplex to Cena. Rollins sees that Lesnar is in the ring while Brock hits an F-5 on Cena. Rollins gets to his feet and Brock lets Rollins finish Cena. Paul offers his hand to Rollins and he tells Seth to trust him. They shake hands and Brock and Paul leave the cage.

Rollins sits on the turnbuckles as he waits for Cena to get up. Rollins hits Black Out and then Seth picks up his briefcase and he limps to the ropes. He goes through the ropes while Joey and Jamie cheer him on. Seth makes it to the floor to win the match.

Winner: Seth Rollins

We go to credits.
