LA PARK VS. DR. WAGNER JR., SABU, CASSANDRO VS. MATT CROSS AND MORE: COMPLETE MASKED MANIA PPV COVERAGE

Damien 666 & Bestia 666 & Sabu (with Robbie Illuminati) vs. Homicide & BLK Jeez & Ruckus

Huge Sabu chant.

Everyone brawled outside the ring at the bell. Bestia and Jeez battled back and forth in the ring. Jeez sent Bestia into the corner and he went up and over. Homicide and Damien entered the ring. Homicide nailed him with a head scissors. Sabu threw a chair at Homicide. The crowd chanted for him.

Sabu hit a somersault legdrop over the ropes on Homicide for a two count. Ruckus tagged in and nailed Sabu, then hit a standing moonsault for a two count. Sabu cut him off on the top and hit a top rope rana. He went for an Arabian Facebuster off the ropes but Ruckus rolled out of the way.

BLK OUT worked over Sabu. Damien tagged in and went back and forth. Ruckus and Bestia went back and forth. They shook hands and Ruckus kicked him low. Ruckus nailed a big swing on Bestia. Homicide battled Sabu. A table was set up. Homicide tried to superplex Sabu but was fought off. Sabu hit an Arabian Facebuster through the table for the pin.

Your winners Sabu & Damien 666 & Bestia 666!

Good brawl. Sabu looked good tonight too. Good stuff with a nice mix of brawling and flying.

Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. LA PARK

They did some back and forth mic work. Wagner nailed Park with the mic and sent him to the floor. Park returned to the ring but was caught off with a leaping clothesline. He nailed a high cross bodyblock for a two count.

Wagner continued working over Park with a stiff suplex but was caught climbing the ropes and was tied to the tree of woe and stomped away. Park went to the top and came off with an axehandle but was kicked coming down They went to the floor, where Wagner hit a flip dive off the apron to the floor.

They returned to the ring, where they battled back and forth. Park got the better of the attack and Wagner begged off. Park was having none of that and wrecked him in the corner. Wagner came back with a series of dragon screw legwhips and locked on a spinning toehold but Park grabbed the ropes to force a break.

Park charged Wagner but was nailed with a drop toehold into the corner, smashing into the buckles. Wagner missed a charge and was sent into the corner. He kicked off several Park charges but was caught with a powerslam for a two count. Park worked over Wagner against the ropes and kicked him to the outside, then hit a tope suicida to the floor.

Park grabbed a chair and nailed Wagner with it across the back as he returned to the ring. Wagner was nailed in the corner and drilled with a backcracker. Park scored a two count. They did a comedy spot where Park tossed referee Mike Kehner at Wagner, who ducked so Kehner sunset flipped him and Park counted three. Kehner ran around like he won so Wagner slapped him. Well, that's an error. He SLAPPPPPPED him. Ouch!

Wagner came back with a DDT but was hit with a sunset flip for a two count. They continued going back and forth on each other with hard shots. Wagner nailed a hanging DDT off the ropes. Park kicked out at two. Park shoulderblocked Wagner for a two count.

They battled into the corner and then battled to the top. Wagner caught Park and nailed a big superplex for a two count. Wagner covered him but Park kicked up at the last second. Wagner began ripping at Park’s mask, trying to remove it. He went to the ropes and missed a move off when Park rolled out of the way. Now Park began trying to untie Wagner’s mask and remove it.

Park removed a belt from his outfit and lashed Wagner with it again and again. Park missed a charge in the corner and took a hard bump out of the buckles. Wagner grabbed the belt and lashed Park across the belt over and over. He then lashed the referee because well, it’s Mike Kehner and he deserves a beating.

Wagner and Park battled and Kehner got bumped. Wagner kicked Park in the groin and small packaged him for the pin.

Your winner, Dr. Wagner Jr!

That was a hell of a main event.

Masked Mania Thoughts: This was just a really FUN Lucha show with some nice dives, good brawling, characters and wrestling plus since it was so unique for the marketplace, it really stood out. Great stuff, especially for the $9.99 PPV pricetag. Recommended if you are looking for a few hours of good stuff. The HD production looked slick, which added to the enjoyment of the show.
