Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring.
He says that the crowd is great. Last Monday on Raw, the Authority said they might make him the new face of the WWE, if he could beat Randy Orton. What the Authority does not understand is that he does not want to be the face of the WWE. He just wants to be himself. When he beat Randy Orton, the Authority showed its colors when the Director of Authority and his former friend Kane came out and attacked him and gave him a choke slam after the match.
Ever since Kane aligned himself with the Authority, he has stayed on the side. That was until now. He wants to know how his former friend could turn into a big red sellout and stab his friends in the back.
Kane makes his way to the stage.
Kane tells Daniel that he came out to tell him . . .
Daniel says that he cannot hear Kane on the stage because of the crowd. Daniel wants Kane to make his way to the ring so they can talk face to face.
Kane says that won’t be necessary. He is here to apologize for his actions on Monday. As Director of Operations, he cannot lay his hands on a superstar without provocation. He says that it was improper and unprofessional.
Daniel says that he does not know what the hell Kane is talking about. He is the devil’s favorite demon. Daniel reminds Kane about all of their hijinks. What happened to that Kane? That Kane helped him and made Daniel a better person. That Kane became his friend.
The Authority tried to put him in a $1,000 suit but he told them to stick it. He was hoping Kane would have said the same thing, but Kane decided to embrace it. Daniel says that he speaks for everyone when he tells Kane to take that cheap tie off and put that mask back on and get rid of the Corporate Kane.
Kane tells Daniel he is right. They do have history. It is exactly that . . . history.
Kane says that he has traded in his undisclosed location in the bowels of the arena for a corner office and he could not be happier. He is happy the Hell No days are over. They are not friends. We never were friends. A very wise man once said that you can make friends or you can make money and Kane says that he is doing pretty well for himself.
Daniel says that he considers himself to be doing very well because he has an arena full of friends. Since Kane does not care about friends, they can settle this in the ring right now like two guys who aren’t friends.
Kane says that is not going to happen, but since Daniel is in the mood for action, he will allow Bryan to compete. Kane has booked Daniel in a match against someone in the Elimination Chamber match. Daniel will face Antonio Cesaro. Kane wishes Daniel luck.
