Here is a quick review of the matches tonight in Wildwood.
I would say the Wildwood Convention Center was not even 50% which was a shame because even though the main people are over in Japan and Taiwan, the Superstars and Divas who appeared tonight did an amazing job.
1) Tons of Funk and Naomi defeated Team Rhodes Scholars and Brie Bella. By far the best match of the night!! Got the crowd pumped and ready for a night of fun!
2) Justin Gabriel defeated Heath Slater.
3) Divas Champion AJ Lee (w/ Big E Langston) defeated Kaitlyn. Can someone please teach Kaitlyn how to execute a proper clothesline. She botched it three times! AJ worked her ass off and is amazing to see live!
4) Big E cuts a promo challenging anyone in the back which leads to Randy Orton coming out.
5) Randy Orton defeated Big E Langston. Very good match and it was great to see Randy smile and take about 10 minutes after his match to go around the ring and shake hands with the fans especially the little kids. It got scary for a minute because at one point it seemed as though the barricade was going to come down as hundreds of kids just wanted to touch Randy.
6) R-Truth defeated Drew McIntyre (w/ Jinder Mahal). Very good match but enough is enough already can we please break up 3MB and let these guys have a chance to shine on their own instead of being the modern day JOB Squad?
7) The Usos defeated The Prime Tyme Players in a Tornado match. After the match Jimmy and Jey did the dance their father used to do in the ring. I am becoming very impressed with them.
8) Alberto Del Rio defeated Dolph Ziggler in a Last Man Standing match. It is safe to say that Dolph is no longer the #HEEL and tossed his shirt into the crowd plus shook hands with fans. Majority of the crowd was behind Alberto but he was able to get the fans to boo him after he won his match. Wanted to give Dolph a present by hitting him with a chair but Dolph ducked and nailed the Zig Zag to close the show and ran around the ring to shake hands with the fans!
I give this show 4 out of 5 stars.
