Kevin Steen comes out and welcomes everyone to the Kevin Steen Show, then tells everyone to get a look at a KILL STEEN KILL sign in the audience. The crowd chants along with the sign, and Steen says he has some good news: if he's defending the title tonight, some of his demands have been met. He's loved the Gatorade tonight, he's getting 80% of the profits off of his merchandise, he heard Jay Lethal tell him to kiss his ass, but he says Lethal can kiss his ass because they'll never be allowed into an ROH show again, and he'll never have to face Lethal again, either. Steen says that ROH is making him a new title belt, and last but not least, the package piledriver is legal once more, so tonight, Unbreakable is going to get broken. Roderick Strong has a front row seat and yells a bunch of stuff at Elgin as he makes his entrance for the main event.

ROH World Title Match: Kevin Steen vs Michael Elgin

Steen and Elgin trade blows right from the start, Steen comes off the ropes with a pair of shoulderblocks, but can't budge Elgin. Now Elgin tries, and can't budge Steen. They keep going until Elgin gets a spinning Boss Man Slam, Steen rolls out to the floor but Elgin goes after him and they trade right hands on the floor as well. Elgin whips Steen into the barricade, but Steen goes to the eyes and whips Elgin into the barricade, then takes a Canadian flag from a ringside fan and chokes Elgin with it. Elgin reverses a whip and sends Steen into the barricade, then chokes Steen with the flag. They go back inside where Elgin gets a powerslam for 2, then he holds Steen up for about ten seconds in a delayed vertical suplex before dropping him and covering for 2. Elgin's strength is scary, but the crowd loves it as they chant his name. Elgin with repeated clotheslines in the corner, then he comes off the second rope with a shoulderblock for 2. Elgin charges Steen in the corner, but gets backdropped to the apron where Steen kicks him square in the skull and hits a DDT off the second rope. Elgin rolls out to the floor, but Steen goes after him and powerbombs him onto the ring apron. Steen hits a splash off the apron, then they go back inside where they fight over a vertical suplex until Steen goes to the eyes and chokes Elgin out with his boot. Elgin suddenly starts no-selling Steen's offense and firing back with shots of his own, but Steen gets a back suplex out of nowhere for 2 as we see Strong making comments from the crowd. Steen with a kitchen sink and a running senton for 2, then hits a hard chop and charges Elgin in the corner, but Elgin dodges and htis a leaping enziguiri. They go toe to toe in the middle of the ring, Elgin sends Steen to the ropes and tries a dropkick, Steen dodges and tries a Sharpshooter, Elgin kicks his way out and rams several shoulderblock into Steen's gut in the corner. Elgin with a roaring forearm to the back of the head, then a rolling Twist of Fate (!) out of the corner for 2. Elgin goes for the powerbomb, Steen sits out and goes for the package piledriver, but Elgin turns out and hits an Air Raid Crash for 2. Elgin hauls Steen over his shoulder for a powerslam, but Steen slips out the back and rams Elgin into the corner, then charges in with a cannonball for 2. Strong is openly cheering on Steen as the champion drills Elgin with right hands, then sits him up top for a belly to back suplex. Steen yanks on Elgin's legs to grind his schwantz into the top turnbuckle, then goes up for the suplex, but Elgin fights him off and tries a twisting senton. Steen gets the knees up and charges Elgin, but Elgin pulls down the top rope, sending Steen out to the floor, and follows with a dive of his own. Both men are down on the floor right in front of Strong, and Elgin finally has enough, nailing Strong and dragging him over the rail to beat the crap out of him and whip him THROUGH the guardrail. Steen tries to run in and nail Elgin, but Elgin picks him up for a powerbomb, almost loses him, but hangs on and pulls Steen back up, then hits a running powerbomb into the ringpost. Elgin rolls Steen inside and hits the top rope twisting senton he went for before, but it only gets 2. The crowd is going nuts for this as Elgin picks Steen up and goes for the powerbomb, Steen blocks and gets a double leg takedown, then gets the Sharpshooter right in the middle of the ring. Elgin powers out and clubs forearms down into the back of Steen's head and then locks him in the Crippler Crossface. Steen deseperately reaches for the ropes, and finally scoots sideways enough for him to get his foot over the bottom rope. Elgin follows Steen out to the apron and tries the powerbomb yet again, but Steen blocks and they trade forearms again. Steen gets a sleeper on Elgin on the apron, but Elgin backs Steen into the post. Steen goes for the sleeper again, so Elgin lifts Steen up onto his back and falls backward through a table to the floor. They both beat the count, they they charge each otehr repeatedly with clotheslines before Elgin drills Steen with a clothesline and comes off the ropes right into a pop-up, sitout powerbomb for 2. Steen goes for the package piledriver, Elgin blocks so he goes for F5 instead, but Elgin slips out and takes Steen down into the Crippler Crossface instead. Steen rolls Elgin to his back for 2, Elgin and Steen trade clotheslines, and Elgin gets an O'Connor Roll for 2. Elgin deadlifts Steen into a bridging German suplex for 2 (HOLY CRAP!), then gets a three quarter nelson and rams kneestrikes into Steen's face. Steen spits at Elgin, so Elgin gets more kneestrikes, then more knestrikes, but Steen ducks a backfist and hits a Codebreaker. Elgin no-sells and turns Steen inside out with a clothesline for 2. Elgin hits a powerbomb into the corner, but Steen comes flying out of the corner and takes Elgin's head off with a clothesline. They're both down again as the referee starts the count, but Elgin hits a roaring elbow, more kneestrikes to the head, but Steen pops Elgin across his shoulders and hits the F5 out of nowhere. Steen only gets 2, but he reaches down to grab Elgin and Elgin catches him in the crossface yet again, right in the middle of the ring. Steen crawls toward the ropes and can't quite make it, he bites at Elgin's hand before making one last grasp at the ropes and finally makes it to force the break. Elgin picks Steen up, and Steen suddenly slips behind Elgin and hits a sleeper suplex followed immediately by the package piledriver, but Elgin kicks out at 2. The crowd is going nuts for Elgin as Steen has words with the referee and shoves him, but the referee shoves Steen back and he stumbles backward into a rollup from Elgin for 2. Steen argues with the referee again for a moment and tries another cannonball, but Elgin catches him, gets to his feet and powerbombs Steen, hits another powerbomb into the corner, and a sitout powerbomb, but Steen KICKS OUT AT 2!! Holy crap, this is amazing! Both men are spent as Elgin gets to his feet and stalks Steen before hauling him to his feet and sitting him on the top rope, nailing Steen with a backfist and climbing to the top, but Steen bites him in the face and comes off the top rope with a package piledriver on Elgin. Steen covers Elgin and that's all she wrote for Unbreakable.

Winner: Kevin Steen

Holy crap, that match was amazing. That may have been even better than Elgin's match with Davey Richards over Wrestlemania weekend. Elgin lost nothing by losing this match, and Steen looks like a monster for scoring a 100% clean win against Elgin. Roderick Strong comes back into the ring and takes Elgin out with the Sick Kick, then runs off to the back with his hands raised as referee Paul Turner comes out and hands Nigel McGuinness a package. Nigel gets a microphone and tells Steen that he was just informed that if Steen retained the title tonight, he had to personally deliver that package to Steen. Nigel hands the package to Steen, and he opens it to reveal...an El Generico mask! Generico looks severely consternated as the crowd chants Ole at him and the iPPV comes to a close.

Awesome show overall, right up there with the Wrestlemania weekend events as the best of the year for ROH, and above all, there were absolutely no issues with the iPPV. This was exactly the kind of night they needed to have, and they had it. The wrestling was great top to bottom, and Davey-Lethal and Steen-Elgin were off the charts, with the twist of Generico's impending return making a nice twist ending to the show. If you didn't watch this live, order the replay because it was that good.
