The newest trademark WWE are trying to register is.... XFL. They have
an existing live application for XFL filed in 2009, which was done under XFL
LLC. It is still pending, as WWE have not provided a 'Statement of Use' for the
trademark. The only difference is the new application is for use in
wrestling and football. It could also be that they are abandoning the old
application, and filing the new one, under WWE Inc., just so they can own the
name.
The Toronto Star has a review of 'No One Lives', which played last
night at the Toronto International Film Festival. It wasn't favorable. Here's a
sample: "While parts of it are deliberately campy, the low-budget production
veers onto the amateurish and some of the jump cuts make it look like it was
edited with a switchblade. Or make that a butter knife." The reviewer
added that it should find an audience with WWE fans, or die hard Ryuhei Kitamura
fans. You can read it by clicking
