Jack welcomes us and sends us to Matt ‘The Summit of Internet Wrestling’ Striker in the ring with the rookies and their fellow seconds. Matt mentions that the long road to redemption saw a number of rookies try to make the trip, but only two remain. We have Titus O’Neil (who is accompanied by his tag team partner Percy Watson) and Derrick Bateman (who is accompanied by his girlfriend Maxine and JTG).
Derrick introduces his ‘by default best friend’ JTG and the love of his life, Maxine.
Titus interrupts and he says that if he wanted to see two fish kiss, they would go to the theater to see Dolphin Tale. They are here to see him (with his dog bark) and Percy Watson become the next WWE breakout star in Houston. Titus gets the Mick Foley Cheap Pop for his efforts.
Matt says that tonight’s challenge is the Talk the Talk Challenge where they will get to say why they are going to be the next breakout star.
Derrick goes first and he speaks with a bad Texas accent. He says that this is football country and he says that if you want to see some real football, you only have to go up the road to Dallas to see America’s Team. Derrick mentions that Titus is a former football player, but Derrick says that he is the only one who could carry the ball. Derrick says that Titus is going to get the cheap pop before coming after him and his girlfriend with insults. Derrick says that he does not care about the fans, he is doing this for an audience of one.
Titus is next and he says that he will only address one of the ignorant things that Derrick says. Titus says that he lost two grandmothers to breast cancer and he is wearing the pink trunks because it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Titus says that he should be the next WWE Breakout star because his journey started in Houston. Since he came back here and promised that he would be the next breakout star, he has 45 Redemption Points and he has dominated thing. He is not going to let Derrick stop him from being the next breakout star.
Derrick tries to interrupt but Titus, but Titus tells him to get back with his fish. Titus wants the people who believe in him to bark like a dog.
The fans obviously choose Titus O’Neil to be the winner.
Titus says that since he has won every challenge, he makes one for Derrick Bateman. He tells Derrick to find a girlfriend who belongs in a ring instead of a aquarium.
Percy tells JTG that he should lose the 1985 look and get rid of the chains. JTG punches Percy and Matt separates them and makes a few matches. Derrick Bateman will face Titus O’Neil in the main event. Matt tells Percy and JTG will have a match and it is next.
Match Number One: Percy Watson versus JTG
They lock up and Percy with a side head lock and take down. JTG with a head scissors but Percy escapes and applies a side head lock followed by a drop kick. JTG goes to the floor and Percy goes after him. Percy sends JTG back into the ring but JTG with forearms as they return.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Watson with an overhead belly-to-belly throw. Watson with jabs and an uppercut that sends JTG to the mat and Percy gets a near fall. Watson with a slam and then he hits a leaping leg drop for a near fall. Watson with a knee to the back followed by a sliding clothesline.
JTG retreats to the corner but Watson with a kick followed by an Irish whip. Watson is sent to the apron but JTG is dropped on the top rope. JTG with a running knee that sends Watson off the apron to the floor. JTG waits for Watson to get up and he hits a running clothesline.
They return to the ring and JTG with a near fall. JTG chokes Watson in the ropes but Watson kicks JTG. JTG with a front face lock followed by a wrist clutch swinging neck breaker for a near fall. JTG with a reverse chin lock and front face lock. JTG with a suplex to Watson and then he goes to the turnbuckles but when he comes off, Watson with a facebuster on the knee and both men are down.
Watson punches JTG followed by uppercuts and a drop kick and flying clothesline. Watson sets fro the Oh Yeah Twisting splash and gets a near fall. JTG with a punch but Watson with a kick and hits the Percecution for the three count.
Winner: Percy Watson
Curt Hawkins is in the back and he is talking about dealing with his injury. Curt asks Matt Striker, who is on the phone, what is up with the suspension. Matt says that Curt and Tyler thought that they could walk off Raw and take control of NXT, but they will have to pay the consequences for what they did. Tyson tells Matt that he should think about dealing with a man who carries a big stick. Matt reminds Tyson that he has a match tonight against Jey Uso.
We go to commercial.
William and Jack talk about what happened on Raw and how you need to look over your shoulder to be safe.
Match Number Two: Tyson Kidd with Curt Hawkins versus Jey Uso with Jimmy Uso
Kidd with kicks and forearms followed by more kicks in the corner. Jey with punches in the corner and the referee pulls him out of the corner. Kidd with a kick but Jey crotches Tyson on top and then he punches Tyson while in the Tree of Woe. Jey with a diving head butt while Tyson is still in the Tree of Woe and Jey gets a near fall.
Tyson with a kick followed by a jumping heel kick and Kidd gets a near fall. Kidd chokes Jey in the ropes. Kidd with a snap mare and kick to the back and Kidd gets a near fall. Kidd with elbows to the head followed by a rear chin lock. Kidd sends Jey to the mat and he kicks Jey in the head and chokes him in the ropes again.
Kidd with a rear chin lock and back kick. Jey with a flying forearm and both men are down. Jey with a kick and an uppercut to the throat. Jey gets Tyson on his shoulders but Kidd escapes. Kidd with a kip up but Jey with a thrust kick. Jey with a super kick to the chin and he goes to the apron and then he goes up top.
Hawkins distracts Jey briefly and when Jey tries for the superfly splash Tyson gets his knees up. Kidd with a spinning fisherman buster for the three count.
Winner: Tyson Kidd
After the match Tyson tries for a Sharpshooter on Jey but Jimmy breaks it up. Hawkins attacks Jimmy with the cane and Tyson attacks Jimmy. Yoshi Tatsu comes to the ring and Kidd and Hawkins leave the ring.

We are back with the Raw Rebound.
Katilyn and AJ Lee are in the locker room and AJ says that she can feel the tension going on. Kaitlyn says that she likes the tension. AJ tells Kaitlyn that Tamina is standing behind her. Tamina says that she is too amazing to be on this show and she hopes that Kaitlyn remembers that when she is done with her tonight.
Match Number Three: Kaitlyn versus Tamina
Tamina sends Kaitlyn to the mat but Katilyn with a head butt to the midsection. Kaitlyn with a drop kick and power slam. Kaitlyn with a splash into the corner but Tamina pushes her out of the corner. Tamina with a superkick to Kaitlyn and gets a near fall. Tamina with an arm bar followed by a forearm to the head. Tamina adds a chin lock but Kaitlyn with a forearm and uppercut followed by a rollup for a near fall.
Tamina with a clothesline and she gets a near fall. Kaitlyn with a shot to the midsection but Tamina with a forearm followed by a neck vice. Kaitlyn tries to get to her feet and she connects with a forearm. Tamina with a punch to the midsection and then Tamina gets Kaitlyn up but Kaitlyn with a sunset flip for the three count.
Winner: Kaitlyn
We go to commercial.
We are back and AJ Lee has joined William and Jack at the announce table. Maxine also joins William and Jack at the announce table.
Match Number Four: Titus O’Neil versus Derrick Bateman with Maxine
They lock up and Derrick gets out of the way. They lock up again and Titus backs Derrick into the corner and Titus with a clean break. They lock up again and Derrick gets on the ropes and he punches Titus. Titus with a shoulder tackle followed by a slam and he gets a near fall. Titus sends Derrick into the turnbuckles and follows with a forearm. Titus with a biel that sends Derrick across the ring. Titus sends Derrick into the turnbuckles a few times.
Titus with a back elbow followed by a shoulder tackle and Derrick goes to the floor. Derrick gets some advice from Maxine but Titus comes to the floor and punches Derrick. Titus gets back into to the ring but Derrick with a drop kick that sends Titus to the floor and then he hits another drop kick off the apron.
Titus is sent back into the ring and Derrick gets a near fall. Derrick sends Titus into the turnbuckles and then he punches Titus before the referee pulls him out of the corner. Derrick with a neck breaker and Derrick gets a near fall. Derrick with a reverse chin lock but Titus with elbows and a jawbreaker.
Titus with a shoulder breaker followed by shoulder tackles. Titus with a running clothesline and then he shakes the ropes and barks. Titus with a splash into the corner. Titus with an Irish whip and Derrick moves out of the way. Titus comes off the turnbuckles but Derrick moves out of the way. Derrick with a La Magistral for the three count.
Winner: Derrick Bateman
After the match, Maxine and Derrick embrace in the ring. Derrick says that this is the greatest day of his entire life. He says that not only did he conquer his biggest foe, Titus O’Neil. Ever since the day that Maxine walked onto his television screen on Season Three of NXT, he has known that he loves her. Derrick says that everything he does, he does for Maxine. Derrick has an important question for Maxine. Derrick drops to one knee and he asks Maxine to marry him.
Maxine slaps Derrick across the face and then she kisses Derrick. While this is going on, Titus is trying to cover AJ’s face.
Maxine says yes to the proposal.
We go to credits and Maxine has a look that is a mix between shock and ‘what am I getting into’.
