TNA will be promoting this weekend's Lashley vs. Bob Sapp PPV on tonight's Impact. In an interview with Lashley conducted by CBS Sports, he noted there was talk of him fighting Kurt Angle but it won't happen due to Angle's neck issues.
Former TNA wrestler Mikey Batts (who worked for the company during the early era of the Impact series on Fox Sports) will be making his MMA debut this Saturday in Rhode Island at the Naga 2009 East Coast Submission Championship event. Batts has been training in Danbury, CT with the American Top Team.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow for TNA's August events in Louisiana and Mississippi.
The company will tape its final night of Impact tonight in Orlando, setting the stage for their 7/19 Victory Road PPV at Universal Studios. They will then be off until the weekend of 7/9 with house shows in Upstate New York and Hamilton, Ontario.
Jimmy Rave has told a few people he wasn't at the TNA PPV last week. I was told by a trusted source he was but wanted to make that note.
