As previously mentioned on PWInsider.com, a wrestling convention has been put together for Friday 4/3 in Houston, Texas, obviously timed to coincide with WWE's Wrestlemania XXV festivities.
Booker T's Fight for Kid's Foundation (a charity organization the TNA star heads up) will be promoting their first-ever Legends of Wrestling Fanfest on the afternoon of 4/3 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, which is the same venue Ring of Honor is running their events at the same weekend.
While ROH is not involved in the convention, the two events are partnering. Fans holding tickets to the ROH event that evening will receive free admission to the Fanfest. Fans holding tickets to the Fanfest can purchase general admission seating to ROH that night for only $10.
Scheduled to appear at the convention are TNA champion Sting, Kevin Nash, Samoa Joe, Nick Bockwinkel, Tito Santana, Ron Simmons, Torrie Wilson, Christy Hemme, Sid Vicious, Jake Roberts, The Beautiful People, Jimmy Hart, Booker T, Sharmell and a few more names to be announced.
Our friends at www.highspots.com are also bringing in Tully Blanchard and Iceman King Parsons as well
