ROH champion Nigel McGuiness will miss tonight's ROH Final Battle in New York City due to the injuries he suffered last night at the PPV taping. McGuinness suffered a concussion, a broken nose and 14 internal and external stitches after smashing his face into the guard rail. There was some talk of McGuinness, who had just returned from a biceps tear, of taking time off again, but that's not confirmed.
The Four Way Main event tonight will now be for a 2/23/08 New York City title shot with Chris Hero vs. Takeshi Morishima vs. Bryan Danielson vs. Austin Aries.
Danielson and Rocky Romero also suffered concussions at last night's PPV taping.
