The Atlanta-Journal Constitution featured an article about former professional wrestlers speaking out about the culture of the industry calling for a change. Lex Luger is among those interviewed, calling himself one of the biggest cheaters in the history of the business when it came to steroid use, admitting that what he (and others) would do was take a six week cycle of steroids, which would shut down the body's natural creation of steroids and then get testosterone under the guise of needing hormone replacement.
Luger also noted he would sneak in a false urine sample or mask drugs in his urine by dipping Visine-coated fingers into the sample he gave, and would even intimidate lab techs to lie.
Among those also interviewed in the piece are Abdullah the Butcher, who says things need to change for the better, and Rick Steiner, who says that when the money was so huge, the pressure was there to do whatever you could to get ahead.
The article noted that Congress has called for documents on testing from several wrestling companies and that a hearing is expected in the future. It's a very well written piece. You can read it at this link.
