South Carolina Newspaper The State featured a long article on the death of WWE Hall of Famer the Fabulous Moolah this morning, featuring comments from her daughter and long-time friend Diamond Lil, who lived with Moolah and Young.
WIS-TV's News 10 in Columbia, South Carolina also covered the passing of The Fabulous Moolah with comments from best friend Mae Young. Funeral arrangements likely won't be set until Wednesday. Young told the station, ""Vince [McMahon] promised that we could have a wrestling match on our 100th birthday. She won't make it, but I will make it for her." The WWE website has added comments from Nikolai Volkoff, Victoria, Sgt. Slaughter and Diamond Lil on the passing of the former WWF Womens champion.
