New...Day Rocks!

We see a video package hyping AJ Styles and Shane McMahon, then we're off to the ring for our opening match!

AJ Styles vs Shane McMahon

Feeling out process to start, then a back and forth before AJ snapmares Shane and does the Money Money Ching Ching Bling Bling dance to mock his opponent.  Shane shoots in a double leg and takes AJ down, then a series of armdrags, a go behind, a waistlock takedown, and a rolling cradle for 2.  AJ slides out to the floor to collect himself, then comes in to trade punches and Shane unloads on AJ with a flurry of boxing punches and a rolling back elbow.  AJ backs off and Tullys Shane to the floor, then hits a baseball slide that sends Shane clear over the announce table.  Back into the ring where AJ unloads on Shane with kicks and punches, followed by the Phenomenal flurry, and AJ tries a springboard forearm, but Shane knocks him off the ropes and both men are down.  Shane unloads on AJ with a flurry of punches and AJ goes down, then Shane pops AJ over with an overhead throw, followed by a Hacker Slam for 2.  AJ fights back and gets Shane up on his shoulders and hits the neckbraker over the knee.  Shane blocks the Styles Clash, but AJ gets the Calf Crusher right in the middle of the ring.  Shane slips out and gets a rear naked choke, then leg rides AJ into a cross armbreaker.  AJ goes for the ropes, but Shane transitions into a Rings of Saturn.  AJ counters to a pinning combination for 2, Shane counters to one of his own for 2, then a double clothesline takes both men out.  AJ rolls to the apron and snaps Shane's neck down on the top rope, then he springboards in with the 450 splash...right into Shane's clutches for a triangle choke.  AJ starts to fade out, but he recovers and counters to a one-armed Styles Clash...for 2.  They trade punches, Shane McMahon gets the advantage, and AJ looks for a kick but misses and catches the referee.  Pelle kick knocks Shane out, and AJ goes to the floor to grab...a trash can fom under the ring!  AJ puts the trash can on top of Shane and goes for the coast to coast dropkick, but Shane tosses the trash can into AJ's face!  Now Shane puts AJ in the corner with the trash can, and now he goes for the coast to coast and...CONNECTS!  Shane drags AJ out to the middle of the ring as the referee wakes up, he makes a cover, but AJ kicks out at 2!  Now Shane clears off the broadcast table, puts AJ on top, and he heads back to the ring.  Shane goes to the top rope, goes for the elbow, but AJ moves out of the way!  AJ dumps Shane back into the ring and goes for the Phenomenal Forearm but Shane counters to a swinging DDT.  Shane goes to the top rope for a SHOOTING STAR PRESS, but AJ rolls out of the way!  A shooting star press?!?!  Shane never ceases to amaze.  AJ goes back to the apron for another Phenomenal Forearm attempt, and this time he hits it and covers for the win.

Winner: AJ Styles

Great opener, and I gotta give Shane credit, he worked his ass off out there and kept up every step of the way.

United States Title Match: Chris Jericho vs Kevin Owens

Owens and Jericho go at it right off the bell, and Jericho quickly takes Owens down and puts him in the Walls of Jericho.  Owens rolls to the floor, Jericho baseball slides him, and comes off the top rope with a dive to Owens.  They go back in and Owens puts Jericho down with a boot to the face, and then Owens is on Jericho with a flurry of right hands.  Owens sits Jericho against the post on the apron and hits a running cannonball across the apron.  Cool spot.  Owens hits a running senton for 2, but then Jericho dumps Owens out to the floor, goes out after him, and gets nailed.  Owens goes for the powerbomb on the apron, but Jericho backdrops Owens and then knocks him down with a series of running shoulderblocks.  They go back inside and Jericho comes off the top with an elbow for 2.  Owens blocks a Codebreaker and hits a package bomb for 2.  Owens goes to the top, but Jericho nails him and hits a super Frankensteiner for 2.  Jericho hits a bulldog and goes for the Lionsault, Owens moves and superkicks Jericho for 2.  Jericho takes Owens down and goes for another Walls of Jericho, Owens kicks him off and hits a spinning crucifix driver for 2.  Jericho avoids the pop-up powerbomb, lays Owens out, and hits the Lionsault for 2.  Jericho goes for another Frankensteiner, but Owens catches him and converts to the Walls of Jericho ON Chris Jericho.  They're right in the middle of the ring, but Jericho manages to slip out, so Owens catapults Jericho, Jericho lands on the middle rope and springs back out, but right into a superkick from Owens.  Jericho collapses into the corner, Owens goes for a cannonball, and Jericho counters to the Walls of Jericho.  Owens is too close to the ropes and makes the break, then Jericho comes off the ropes and runs right into the pop-up powerbomb.  Owens only gets 2 off that move, so he picks Jericho up and yells at him that he was never his best friend, slaps him in the face, then sends him to the ropes and goes for the pop-up powerbomb, but Jericho counters to the Codebreaker.  Jericho makes a cover, but Owens manages to get one finger on the bottom rope to force a break.  Owens rolls to the floor, drags Jericho out after him, and htis the powerbomb onto the ring apron.  They go back into the ring and Owens quickly covers Jericho for the win.

Winner and NEW United States Champion: Kevin Owens

Great match!  Terrific psychology in this one.

Raw Women's Title Elimination Match: Bayley vs Nia Jax vs Charlotte Flair vs Sasha Banks

All three opponents rush Nia at the bell, but Nia fights them all off, laying all three girls out with a triple clothesline.  Charlotte unlods on Nia with chops, Nia whips her to the corner and she does the Flair flip, but Nia tosses her off the apron on top of both Bayley and Sasha.  Bayley and Sasha are up on the apron, Charlotte joins them, and they all come in together to surround Nia.  Sasha takes Nia's leg while Charlotte and Bayley zip in with shots on Nia.  Sasha and Bayley get ahold of Nia and Charlotte big boots Nia into a back suplex and covers for 2.  Nia swats Bayley to the floor and nails Sasha, then turns her attention back to Charlotte.  Nia goes up for a Banzai drop on Charlotte, but Sasha and Bayley run in and they triple powerbomb Nia and pin her.

Nia Jax is eliminated.

Well, that's a relief for the other girls!  Charlotte goes for a high five, but Sasha and Bayley aren't having it, so Charlotte slides out to the floor and tells Sasha and Bayley to fight instead.  So they do...and Charlotte drags Bayley to the floor and lays out some shots, then Sasha comes over the top rope with a dive that wipes Bayley out.  Now Charlotte goes to the top rope and does a corkscrew moonsault onto both girls.  Unbelievable.  Charlotte brings Sasha in and goes for Natural Selection, Sasha counters to the Bank Statement, Charlotte gets out and hits an STO for 2.  Charlotte pulls a middle turnbuckle off, but Sasha comes in from behind and rolls her up for 2.  Sasha with a HUGE chop, a flying headscissors, a charging double knee in the corner, then she goes to the top and hits Meteora for 2.  Back to the Bank Statement, but Charlotte's body is too long to hang onto and she slips free.  Sasha gets an O'Connor Roll, Charlotte kicks Sasha off into the exposed turnbuckle and covers her for 3.

Sasha Banks is eliminated.

We're down to Charlotte and Bayley, and Charlotte quickly kicks out Bayley's knee and then runs her knee-first into the exposed turnbuckle.  Charlotte goes to the top rope for a moonsault, Bayley moves out of the way and covers for 2.  Bayley tries a Thesz press off the top, but Charlotte catches her coming down and gets the figure four, but Bayley makes the ropes before Charlotte can lock in the figure eight.  Charlotte continues working the knee over and hangs Bayley in the Tree of Woe.  Charlotte climbs the corner on top of Bayley, Bayley fights her back and hits a spider suplex.  Charlotte charges in, but Bayley sits up and now Charlotte runs into the exposed turnbuckle.  Bayley is on top and comes off with an elbowdrop, and she covers Charlotte for the win.

Winner: Bayley

I bet this makes up for not being called up with the others!  Great moment for Bayley.

We see clips from Friday night's Hall of Fame inductions, then we introduce this year's inductees to the live crowd here at Wrestlemania.
