How did you get your start, who trained you?
I knew my trainer, Rob Fuego from Squared Circle in Toronto, from before...it was just a matter of having the time for it. I started a bit of my training with him.
What was your first match or appearance, and how did you feel?
I managed Shane Douglas who wrestled D'Lo for the BCW Title. I had a few spots...I'm so glad I didn't mess up!! Both Shane and D'Lo complimented me so that made me real happy.
Who were some of your influences in the past, or who do you admire today?
In the past, Sherri Martel and Shawn Michaels. Today, AJ Styles...he's very talented and he just flies like it's nothing! Also, Shane Douglas...he has given me so much advice which helped me along the way and made me a better manager and I never feel left out or ignored while managing him.
What is the hardest part about being a woman in a male dominated business?
Earning respect as a person and as a worker.
What are your goals in wrestling?
I'd like to start wrestling pretty soon. And of course, who wouldn't want to make it to the WWE or TNA!?!
What was your most embarrassing moment in wrestling?
I haven't had any real embarrassing moments. Just one REVEALING one. It was after Shane's promo and we were exiting the ring. He jumped down from the ring first and grabbed me by my hips and slowly brought me down. I was wearing a skirt and when he grabbed me, he pulled my skirt up at the same time by accident and held me up for what seemed to be a REALLY long time! Yes, I was wearing skimpy booty shorts underneath which revealed half my butt...but then again, sex sells right???
What are you most proud of so far in your career?
Honestly, I never thought I'd get this far in the wrestling business. I'm VERY happy with the way things are going for me. A lot of people have been so nice to me, and there's one person in particular (a fellow worker--you know who you are) who helped me all the way...he believed in me so much and I can't thank him enough!!!
What other female talents do you think highly of in the business?
I haven't been able to be around that many female workers, but Lady Victoria sticks out in my mind. I've heard many positive things about her and I only got to meet her once. She's one TOUGH cookie!...and a very nice lady as well!
If you weren't in wrestling, what would you be doing today?
Well, I'm still in school, still modeling, and still working....so most likely still be doing the same thing!
Is there anything you would like to say to the fans reading this article?
You guys are the ones who help make my character and make my job that much easier. Thanks for all the support and keep supporting Indy Wrestling!!
