1. How did you get your start, who trained you?
My dad is the one who got me into wrestling...he would always make me watch it with him. It took a while, but I got into it and ever since then I've been hooked. I used to love watching "Macho Man" with Miss Elizabeth (RIP). He was my favorite. I started training in November of 2001. I used to drive up to
2. What was your first match or appearance, and how did you feel?
It was against Trinity H. Campbell at a GLOOW show. I was so nervous cause it was my first match and I didn't know what to expect, or what kind of crowd reaction I was going to get.
3. Who were some of your influences in the past, or who do you admire today?
When I first started watching wrestling, Macho Man Randy Savage and Elizabeth were my favorite. I always thought they were the perfect team and looked so good together. I also love watching Eddie Guerrero. He is such an excellent technical wrestler and definitely one of the best in the business. He can have a good match with anyone. He has definitely been an inspiration to me.
4. What is the hardest part about being a woman in a male dominated business?
People think because there's a woman match on a wrestling show that clothes should be ripped off and body parts should be exposed. I wish women's wrestling was taken more seriously. Women bust their asses in training and in matches just as much as they guys do, and yet they're still viewed as "T&A" only. Hopefully one day that will change.
5. What are your goals in wrestling?
Just to be the best I can be at whatever I do, to have fun, and make it as far as I can in this business.
6. What was your most embarrassing moment in wrestling?
I was valeting for this guy and I had on a pair of 7" heels and when I got in the ring, I didn't realize the ring was all lumpy and as soon as I started walking, I tripped over one of the bumps in the ring and almost busted my ass!! The crowd thought it was pretty funny.
7. What are you most proud of so far in your career?
I'm proud of the worker Jason Knight has made me. All I am now and all I ever will be I owe all to Jason.
8. What other female talents do you think highly of in the business?
I really do admire April Hunter and Francine. The two of them look out for me so much and go out of their way to help me in any way they can. They are two of my closest friends in the business. I'm also really close with Luscious Lily and Alere Little Feather. The 4 of these girls are great friends as well as workers.
9. If you weren't in wrestling, what would you be doing today?
I would definitely devote more time to get into modeling and acting.
10. Is there anything you would like to say to the fans reading this article?
Thanks to all the fans who come out and support me and the rest of the wrestlers. If it wasn't for you guys, we would be nothing. Be sure to check out my website at www.TaliaDoll.com and come see me at my upcoming shows!
