WRESTLEMANIA PRESS CONFERENCE DETAILS, CM PUNK, BRUNO, WWE DROPS RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR ANGLE & MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2007-03-27 16:06:00

World Wrestling Entertainment will be holding a Wrestlemania 23 press conference at Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan tomorrow at 12 noon. The event is open to fans and will feature talents from the main events appearing. If you'd like to attend, my advice is to get there early. WWE's website will be streaming the conference as well. We're seeking live reports from anyone who attends the conference, which will be held at Trump Tower, 725 Fifth Avenue on the 27th Floor.

Useless Fact: Remember when WWE started the Donald Trump vs. Vince McMahon angle by Trump dropping money for the crowd on Monday Night Raw? Well, according to WWE Magazine, they dropped $2,572,800 on the crowd that night in $100, $50, and $20 bills. Holy Russo era WCW, Batman! If that's true, that's about half of what ECW owed when parent company HHG filed for bankruptcy.

CM Punk is featured in the new issue of Spin Magazine, discussing his musical tastes, praising Rancid, The Bouncing Souls, and Hatrebreed, among others.

The interview is available to download at http://www.wdfn.com/cc-common/podcast.html. Scroll all the way down to the podcast section called ‘WDFN Bits.’ They've also recently interviewed Shawn Michaels and Jerry Lawler.

WWE released an Umaga T-shirt. The Condemned novel, based on the Steve Austin feature film, was also released today.
