FEMALE FACTS: LADY VICTORIA

FEMALE FACTS

Name: Lady Victoria
Website: www.ladyvictoria.com

1. How did you get your start, who trained you?
I have been a bodybuilder for 26 years. I decided to get into pro wrestling, after doing several videos for various companies, and also wrestling men. Lots of big men, that kicked my ass. I needed training. Al Snow had a school one hour up the street. I joined in 1998.

2. What was your first match or appearance, and how did you feel?
Believe it or not, my very first match out of school is on my Ring Wars Vol.1. I wrestled BLAZE. The next match was a show from the school, BODYSLAMMERS. I wrestled a guy that went to class with me. It was OK. But I fell on my head during a Japanese Arm Drag.

3. Who were some of your influences in the past, or who do you admire today?
I am so very OLD SCHOOL. I like the people with old traditions and rules. The Bushwhackers are my dear friends. I admire them also.

4. What is the hardest part about being a woman in a male dominated business?

Not showing my t****. It seems like most promotions just want to hire ladies to show t*** and ass. Now that I am an established GOOD worker, I am getting great breaks in the business. I still have to wrestle bimbos who fall out of their shirts, but I kick their asses (not really).

5. What are your goals in wrestling?
To have the biggest and best video business on the circuit today. I am the only distributor of Ladies In Combat videos and DVD's. Joe Smith from Manchester England and I have the only female wrestling magazine in the world today. Published in England. You can only buy them in the US, Canada and Japan, from me. My goal
is to support my husband Jose Moreno. He is currently living in LA at the INOKI D0-JO for New Japan. He has been there for only 6 weeks, and they have him scheduled for their upcoming show in Hollywood. He will be wrestling Ice Man. This is a huge opportunity for him. My support is there.

6. What was your most embarrassing moment in wrestling?
Probably when Malia Hosaka shot on me in a live show. I was embarrassed for her more than me.

7. What ar
e you most proud of so far in your career?
I have been to Japan, India, England, Hong Kong, and am now going to Malaysia this year. I have been on Jenny Jones show as Lady Victoria Pro Wrestler. I do a lot of local radio charities and public access here in Dayton, Ohio.

8. What other female talents do you think highly of in the business?
That's easy, Little Jeanne.

9. If you weren't in wrestling, what would you be doing today?
I cant imagine. I would still be wrestling men. I have been doing this for 10 years. I am one of the top ladies in my field, but most likely I would be beat up more without my pro training. I would still be wrestling, but not pro.

10. Is there anything you would like to say to the fans reading this article?
Ladies Wrestling can be more than T&A. I am aggressive and I work tight in the ring. My chops and punches are for real. I have really never hurt anyone in the ring. That is not a place for vengeance. We are out there to entertain the fans. Not take out our personal grudges against each other. I have met and like almost 99% of all the ladies in this business. I have a problem with only one lady, and it is her backstage presence, not her wrestling ability that is the problem. I am nice and caring to all the ladies. I can guide anyone thru a match. Even someone with no training at all. I am that good. I have my own ring here at the house. I am out there all the time. My husband Jose, trained me every day after I got out of school. After all ,I am his protégé, and I had
a lot of pressure on me to be good. I am past good now. I am there, but always learning more from each lady I meet.
