As we broke yesterday in the PWInsider.com Elite section yesterday during our Hot News Hotline, World Wrestling Entertainment hired former Four Horsemen member Tully Blanchard to work as a producer (new term for agent). Blanchard started yesterday at the Raw taping in Chicago yesterday. It's a 30 day trial run to see how he does in the role, something that others, including Ted DiBiase and Ricky Steamboat have done prior to being signed on as a full-time employee. Interesting to note that this would be the first time since 1988 that Blanchard, Ric Flair, and Arn Anderson have all worked for the same national company at the same time. The last time they were all together (with Ole Anderson and JJ Dillon, to boot) was an October 1997 signing organized by Jersey All Pro Wrestling. PWInsider.com Elite subscribers can listen to our 2004 interview with Blanchard, where he discusses his career in-depth, right now.
Psicosis was finally officially released by WWE a few days ago in a move that was considered just a matter of time after his recent legal skirmish in Mexico.
