I know you’ll never toot your own horn, because you’re just too classy.  But can I give you props on something? I think I mentioned this before, but today you commented on someone asking about Kevin Kelly being the new Smackdown play by play guy?  As far as I can tell, you were the first one to mention how good Corey graves would be in that position.  I’m not suggesting Triple H stole the idea from you, but as Gorilla Monsoon is the only wrestler turned PxP guy, maybe I am. I think he’s great there.  I do think combination of he doesn’t have the classic play by play voice AND he’s known in a different role will maybe hold him back for a year or two (at least that’s my hesitation) to be accepted in that role. But… Do you think he’s the Cole Replacement?

Thanks for the kind words.  I have thought Corey could be the Smackdown PBP guy for a while now, since he already was the de facto guy in carrying Kevin Patrick, and I am glad they gave him the opportunity.  He is already very, very good and will just continue to get better the more he does it.  I could absolutely see him taking over for Michael Cole if/when he retires.

Do you think with Vince McMahon selling all of his TKO stock, that he may start or buy another promotion to compete?

Honestly, no.  I don't think he has any desire to try and do what he has already done.  Plus, I would think that TKO has some kind of non-compete with him.  He could be selling to fund another venture.  He could be selling because WWE has moved on from him.  I honestly don't know.

Also, I loved the finish of Cody's story at Wrestlemania, but my question is why not have Sami Zayn involved in the finish?  His addition to the Bloodline story and watching all of the highlights of him joining, gaining acceptance and turning on them really got me invested back into the product.  I was also very disappointed last year when he would not be the one facing Roman at WM 39.  I feel like he became an after thought and his momentum was deflated.

I was fine with Sami not being involved.  It came down to which people would be used to even the odds against The Bloodline.  They wouldn’t want to have more faces than heels because that makes Cody look like he cheated or whatever.  Jey Uso had to be in it.  Seth Rollins had to be in it.  There’s no way I pull John Cena or The Undertaker for Sami in that scenario.

I couldn’t be more impressed with Drew McIntyre’s promos lately. Not only is McIntyre engaging, believable, and quite witty, but he’s able to come up with really funny quips off the top of his head against strong talkers like Punk and Rollins, AND he’s able to turn trollish crowd chants against them to make them look foolish. Is there a better overall promo or more interesting character than Drew McIntyre today?

First off, Drew can keep up with good, smart promo people because he is a good, smart promo person.  He never got to show it before but now he is showing what he can do in The HHH Era.  I don’t rank people in this category so let’s just say Drew is great and has been on fire for a while now. I really, really hope he doesn’t go to AEW.  Like almost everyone else, he will be wasted there unless they get a competent booker.

CM Punk spills the beans about his time in AEW to Ariel , then Edge and the Young Bucks respond on Dynamite.  HHH makes a comment at a Press Conference about Will Osprey choosing AEW, then Osprey responds on Dynamite.  Is AEW simply just settling for Dynamite competing with media events and interviews because there’s not even a snowballs chance and hell they can compete with Raw and SmackDown?

I don’t know what Tony Khan’s end game is because what he has been doing of late makes no sense to me.  But man, Edge really looks like a dope now for saying let’s all move on and then have Tony go into the Wayback machine with that video.  At the end of the day, AEW is a rich kid’s play toy.  I am glad talents make a living from it but I have zero faith that Tony will ever run it like a real business and I honestly don’t know that he could do that if he wanted to.
