On tonight's NXT General Manager Ava announced there will be a ladder match to crown the first-ever Women's North American Champion at NXT Battleground on June 9 in Las Vegas at the UFC Apex. Next week, there will be a combine, the top 12 women in the combine will then face each other in six qualifying matches with those six winners moving on to the ladder match.
Set for next week's NXT:
*Wes Lee versus Josh Briggs
*NXT Champion Trick Williams will be on the Supernova Sessions
*The NXT Women's North American Championship combine to determine who goes on to qualify for NXT Battleground
*Roxanne Perez will defend her NXT Women's Championship against Chelsea Green.
